Thanks very much from G. Fred and Teresa Asbell - Good Luck!!
:archer2:
Love the pattern.
Seems to just "disappear".
:D
I love the Hedge Apple Hideaway pattern. Would like to see the 1/4 zipper from the prototype available on the production version. Not a deal breaker, but would like the ability to open/close the zipper to vent when needed.
Really like the Hedge Apple Hideaway. Love the pockets, should be able to use them easily while sitting. I also like the thought of the 1/4 zipper.
Thanks for the chance.
Only thing I might add is a game pouch in the back otherwise it looks really slick!
I would like for the 1/4 zip to remain. Here in Louisiana it can get hot dragging a deer out.
Really any of the three patterns will work

love the asbell wool! the new pathfinder fixed the only things I wanted to see change. the phone or small accessory pocket will be a godsend! and, the open hand warmer pocket I can think of nothing else id change. love the stuff!
The extra pocket is a great idea. Love the look.
Got mine ordered. Just got a new one 2weeks ago but o well I need a spair..
Love the Hedgeway pattern. Great idea with the front pocket design. Might like elastic in the wrist..
Evening Stand Green is my go to.
I like the zip pocket and new hand pockets that go all the way through. Really nice!
I like the pockets on the Pathfinder. Olive Drab would be my choice. I agree with the 1/4 zip comments.
Love the fact that the pocket is all the way thru, and the zipper pocket for your phone or your truck keys just makes sense. I find I wear my regular pullovers for casual dress a lot.
I have several pieces of Asbell wool.My choice would be the Hedge Apple Hideaway pattern with a 1/4 zipper as well.
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/quarteraway/2012Spike.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/quarteraway/media/2012Spike.jpg.html)
I wish I owned some but ,if I did, I'd want that hedge apple hideaway pattern. The hand warmer pocket looks like a nice touch too.
Love the looks of the new pattern, and have been tempted to place an order for one.
I would however like to see it in Evening stand Brown!
Yup - it's already been said, but the single front pocket is a great design! The zippered pocket (I believe that's what it is) will definately help those (myself included) prone to losing important stuff reduce those occurrences.
Nice looking pullover, love the ones I have so far and will eventually own one of these!!
1) I think the zip pocket for cell phone is perfect (safety feature). I only keep my cell phone on me for emergency purposes and having it safely tucked away, but readily available if injured is great.
2)Here's my Longhunter shirt that I was wearing at Shrewhaven Lodge hunt camp. I was in a pine tree and shot this nice doe. She never knew I was there because it's quiet and blended perfectly with the pine branches. I do love to looks of the Hedgeapple pattern however.
Thanks for the opportunity and sponsoring Tradgang!!!

I like the pockets also, more convenient.
Really like the hedge apple. I like the hood and pockets.
I like the idea of the zippered pocket.
This ESB Zippered Jacket has been great. Always a toss up between it and Little Delta Plaid.
(http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c291/marcbishop/P1010135.jpg) (http://s29.photobucket.com/user/marcbishop/media/P1010135.jpg.html)

Love the front pocket in the pathfinder but would also appreciate some type of pocket in the back be it a normal slash pocket or kangaroo pocket. You make great products and thank you for the give away, very kind of you!
Love the pullovers but I keep thinking of getting one with a zipper
Like the olive color and idea of pocket is great
I have to throw my name in the hat, I was lucky enough to be one of the winners last time they did this. I like the looks of the new pocket and the extra zippered one. As mentioned above the 1/4 zipper would be great but not necessary. It would be a toss up between ESG or the olive.
I'd love to see the Mackinaw come with a full zipper and the no hood option. It would be much more versatile when using a safety harness from a stand. I'd also like to see an even heavier jacket from Asbell.
The only thing I would like to see is a blanket weight in a plaid pattern and also pants or bibs offered.
Love the extra pocket, would also like to see an additional pocket on the top sleeve
I like the generous size of the vest. Easy to put on over other layers. (//%5Burl=http://s694.photobucket.com/user/bigjohnson35/media/deer.jpg.html%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv309/bigjohnson35/deer.jpg) [/IMG]
I like the evening stand green! Should blend right in in east tx!
Thx, for the chance!
(http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac67/peastes/IMG_0189_zps932120bc.jpg) (http://s886.photobucket.com/user/peastes/media/IMG_0189_zps932120bc.jpg.html)
Love the Asbell stuff; one zip up, 2 pullovers, a wool possibles bag, and an Asbell quiver, plus a couple of knives. Good stuff
How about some wool pants?
Would love to see a zipper added. All of the wool products are great. Thank you.
I like the zippered pocket and would also like a 1/4 zipper. A pocket on the back just like the one on the front would be nice for when I am setting a stand. I always overload my cargo pockets and having the ability to carry items on my back like a fanny pack would be nice. Would also be a nice way to carry items while stalking and the extra fabric would help keep the kidneys warm on those long cold sits.
WOW:::Whats not to like :D The zippered accessory pocket is a great addition :shaka:
I like the 1/4 zipper which makes it easier pulling over a head and I think that Big pocket in front is a great idea also.
That Hedge apple looks awesome.
I think a tag showing Made by Mrs. "T" and size would be a very nice added feature also with a loop or something to hang it up on a robe hook or branch when not wearing..
Thank you Fred and Mrs. "T" for all you do for us Trad. Folks..
As a new product how about a crushable Fadora style hat using some of your famous colors?
I also signed up on the email for the newsletter. :archer:
Love the olive,Would like an upper sleeve pocket added for my grunt tube, way better then around the neck for a bow hunter.
I love the pathfinder looks great I'd love to get a chance to own my very first asbell product.. I would like to see maybe an option for a larger hood but that is just a nitpick.
The Pathfinder is on my wish list for sure!
I have a haversack and GFA quiver, love them both.
An idea I had was to perhaps work in a pocket in the back similar to the front, sort of like an incorporated "fanny pack" into one of your products. Doh! I see now that someone beat me to that idea!
As others have said, some reasonably priced wool pants would be nice!
I like the pockets on the Pathfinder and would like to see full zipper.
I like Keefer's fedora idea!
Think the zippered pocket is s great idea! Not sure of improvements I really like my hooded pullover and longhunter. Thanks for the opportunity.
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/varmint101/DSCN2354_zps4b57dc23.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/varmint101/media/DSCN2354_zps4b57dc23.jpg.html)
I really love the timber ghost stitch/weave pattern. I think that particular pattern has more "optical confusion" then any of the rest (limited 002 looks close). In particular I like the way the white fades into the darker color. I think the fading colors really add to the camouflage aspect. I think the fading colors would be much more effective then the traditional bars or checkers in most of your other patterns.
The actual color of timber ghost looks great for late season and stand hunting.
My suggestion is to take the timber ghost "weave pattern" and use different colors for an early season garment. Say some combination of two of the following, green, brown, tan, flat dark earth...basically the timber ghost weave with evening stand green or evening stand brown colors.
If you had a light/medium weight "early season timber ghost" I would have already bought it!!!! lol.
Also it would be nice to see the timber ghost in lighter material offerings... maybe a medium weight.
I've never had one of your garments, so maybe i'm missing something... But I think a drawstring around the waist on the pullover models would be handy. Sometimes it gets a bit "drafty" when wearing tops with open bottom ends.
Love the pockets and zipper in the front. Zipper is perfect place to keep my phone.
And I like Swamper's idea of an upper sleeve pocket..for the grunt call..etc.
Great lookin stuff!
Been thinking about ordering one of the new pathfinder pullover's, really like the pocket design. Probably gonna go with Hedgeapple Hideaway. Would would really like to see it in Evening stand brown & Timber Ghost.
Just ordered another Pathfinder for this year's hunting excursions
Needs a chest pocket button style on right side for right handed shooters and lefts side for lefties
But it looks like a home run ASBELL CREATION as is
Gary Hall
D&M Custom Arrows
My favorite is the evening stand brown.... I like the fact that the pockets are up front as well.
I've also ordered several of the throws from the remnants.... my wife is absolutely in love with hers! They make wonderful Christmas gifts as well!
I'm just waiting for the Temps to drop low enough for me to wear mine again!
Rodd
Well that's a great gesture! Having never seen one actual and up close the new big pocket looks wonderful and the accessory "cell phone pocket" is a great idea. The only other suggestion I would make. Is possibly make the hood removable. Other than that. The hedge apple pattern is great! Nice work guys!
Love the grey patterns, seem to work in my neck of the woods, wish for an insulated version for when the real cold bites down. Otherwise all of the products I have used work great in the field.
Thank you
Always wear my Asbell wool
(http://i60.tinypic.com/dfeetu.jpg)
Looks great. Timberghost is my favourite of your patterns and the cell phone pocket is a nice feature.
I like the pocket going all the way thru . Here is a picture of me in my Timber Ghost pullover. A lot of people really like , and not just hunters! GREG

Been looking at asbell wool since I joined! The pathfinder sent me over the edge though! Planning a order soon... Has there been any thought to wool pants?
Love the pattern and pocket location.
Denny

Well my computer geek (lol) stepdaughter can not figure out how to post my picture Oh well...
Don't have any of your products yet. I really like the hoodies though, looks like it has room to layer, obviously the hood would be nice for shade and warmth and the hand warmer pocket would be real nice when the weather gets nippy but I don't want to wear a glove on my draw hand! No glare on these like so many products these day!
I was thinking my next piece would be a jacket, but the new Pathfinder is making it a difficult choice. Love the accessory pocket. 1/4 zip would make it an easy decision. Thanks for the great products !
Love the new pocket location also and the hedge apple hideaway pattern. Would really like to win one.
(http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s64/GordonJabben/370d9bde-f1b4-44dd-a167-b0c7e356d540_zps4be7114b.jpg) (http://s149.photobucket.com/user/GordonJabben/media/370d9bde-f1b4-44dd-a167-b0c7e356d540_zps4be7114b.jpg.html)
I really like the hoods, didnt think I would but they help keep you warm and I feel hide head movement. Like the thru pocket too.
I don't choose to hunt with gloves on so the addition of the hand pouch is awesome!!!
I would love to see some pants in the future, except for army surplus which never have my size, there really doesn't seem to be anyone supplying good wool pants.
First Elk hunt. My pullover just looks more natural
(//%5Burl=http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/goobersan/media/Colorado%20hunt%20pic1_zpsswo0z7rj.png.html%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y525/goobersan/Colorado%20hunt%20pic1_zpsswo0z7rj.png) [/IMG]
I've been looking at making the switch to wool for a while. Looks like I know what to ask for for Christmas :)
I like the zipper pocket!
Love my wool!! Even started wearing it outside of hunting like going out with my wife. So comfortable and warm!
(http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q611/Kopper1013/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsucc0hfbl.jpg) (http://s1166.photobucket.com/user/Kopper1013/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsucc0hfbl.jpg.html)
I have timber ghost and evening stand brown the next one I would like to get would be the hedge Apple hideaway. Thanks for giving us tradgangers a chance, never read one bad comment about you product keep up the good work.
I like the zipper pocket and large hood. Already have a Christmas present idea to give my wife (for me!). Question is, will it make my arrows shoot straighter?!?
I really like the hoods and the various patterns that are available and that they are Made In The USA. I would like to see an option for a slimmer fitting pullover / jacket that tapers to be narrower at the waist. I also wish that the plaid patterns were available in blanket weight. Love the Asbell wool!
I like the hedge apple hideaway and the evening stand both. Hard to decide.
Love the new hoodie style pullover. My favorite pattern is the evening stand brown. I really like the idea of an anorak style in the blankett weight with a full zipper for winter.
Nice looking coat. The hand-warming pocket and zippered pouch make this one a "must have."
Love the hedge apple pattern.
Also,would,keep the zipper.
I like the Pathfinder! I like no zipper to let in wind or water. I love the front "anorak" pocket. I like the generous hood that allows you to turn your head without obscuring your vision. The only "better" hood is the separate hood that I bought with my first Asbell pullover.
homebru
I really like the pockets, especially the zipper pocket
Looks like a winner to me
The olive drab looks really nice! I like the oversized hood and the addition of a secure pocket is excellent. A Mackinaw cape option would round out the offering.
The olive drab looks really nice! I like the oversized hood and the addition of a secure pocket is excellent. A Mackinaw cape option would round out the offering.
Looks good, but I would prefer a zipper front so I can keep cool while walking.
I like wool!
I've always wanted one maybe this is my shot !!
Thanks for the giveaway. I'd add a game pouch to the rear and arm pit zippers like the North Face Denali has to vent the hot spots.
that front pocket configuration is awesome. would be proud to own one.
Had my hands on the wool pullover last year at the kalamazoo expo...not sure what got me sidetracked. Oh, yeah ...it was a bow or two.
Love the wool patterns offered...they all seem to have the right look for the different environments that we try our best to blend into.
the new pathfinder seems to have the handiness quality that I would prefer.
I'm in...
Like the look of the hedge apple, a lot. I love my wool pullover, that my wife bought for me for Christmas a few years ago. Very quiet, and warm.
Like the front pocket and patterns. Adding the old type of pockets in addition to the front pocket would be really cool for carrying gear.
I like the way they blend in even though they are not a marketed camo pattern.
Really like the looks of the olive drab. I have always said camo is over rated. Olive drab blends right in.
I love the pocket layout and patterns, would like to see a hoodless option, also on the email list
That is a sweet pullover. Love the evening stand green.
I signed up for email.
Really like the new pathfinder. I'd be interested to see one made without the hood as an option.
I have a couple Asbells. They are quality and priced exceptional.
Late fall hunt in SE KS. Asbell wool perfect!
(http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k640/lmyers2/Bent%20Oak/DF243797-2C1B-4484-9F85-C907D843FB59.jpg) (http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/lmyers2/media/Bent%20Oak/DF243797-2C1B-4484-9F85-C907D843FB59.jpg.html)
I'd like to see the pockets sewn on with the patterns matching up, instead of perpendicular to eachother. It draws my attention to it. Also, I'll agree with the 1/4 zip.
Here is my first tradional deer, wearing my evening stand brown full zip jacket. Dec. '13.
(http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t608/Pheonixarcher/38F7DF3D-C99C-4A5E-9FE9-D08CD0DFB16C_zpsp7qvhtul.jpg) (http://s1316.photobucket.com/user/Pheonixarcher/media/38F7DF3D-C99C-4A5E-9FE9-D08CD0DFB16C_zpsp7qvhtul.jpg.html)
I would like to see some good old fashion red and black lumberjack print plaid , also draw strings on the hood would be nice.
I've got the pullover in evening stand and wear it often. It's like hunting in your favorite blanket.
Thanks for making a great product.
Joe
To my surprise, as I started totaling things up, I seem to have acquired 8 pieces of Asbell gear over the years between jackets, wind layers, possibles bags, and a quiver. I love 'em all!
I hate cell phones, but carry one when I hunt due to medical trouble. The zippered pocket looks like a perfect solution and the safest way to do that. The same problem makes pullover shirts more difficult, so I would add my name to the chorus that calls for the 1/4 zipper.
Thanks for the contest, and for your long, faithful sponsorship on the Gang!
Daryl
Jumped on the e-mail list, as well!
Thanks again.
I really like the new pocket. I would like to see some of their patterns available in blanket weights...maybe fleece lined pockets as an upgrade?? Just got my first zip up jacket 2 weeks in ESB...had a doe about 8 yards from me last night and she looked right through me. Love this jacket!
Bill-
Can you make hats to match the pullovers?
I like the New Pathfinder pullover mainly due to the new design on the pockets. I previously had a pullover and loved the large pocket in the front.
With the new extra zipper pocket I can store personal items like my wallet, hunting license, keys etc... that may be needed and easly accessible.
If there was one improvement it would be a 1/4 zip on the neck for easy on and off.
The picture of my current GFA wool is with the full zipper and I really love it and can't wait till its cold enough to hunt this fall or winter.
Keep up the good work!
(http://i795.photobucket.com/albums/yy235/jalmay5th/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-03/9239e393-67a3-4207-8782-e8632605000d.jpg) (http://s795.photobucket.com/user/jalmay5th/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-03/9239e393-67a3-4207-8782-e8632605000d.jpg.html)
I have the one w the hood, and IT IS MY FAVORITE TO WEAR IN THE WOODS, will get a pathfinder soon!
That hedgeapple hideaway looks great. The pathfinder design looks to be pretty well thought out. I like the pockets including the zippered front stash pocket. Having the main pocket go all the way through is a nice touch as well, should help keep hands warm. The length is great, it goes down far enough to prevent wind from flowing up the backside.
I'd post a picture of me using my zippered jacket but it hasn't been cold enough to wear a jacket since I bought it. Such is my luck.
Something I'd like to see y'all offer would be wool pants. I think it would complete the wool system y'all have made so far.
Oh, I did sign up for the newsletter.
Really like the looks of the new Pathfinder. I like the small zipper pocket for securing incidentals.
Can't wait until it is offered in other patterns also.
Almost forgot to thank you for the opportunity to win one. :clapper:
As many before me have said, I would like to see it as a 1/4 zip. I love the small zippered pocket in front.
Those are some sharp looking shirts.
The new Pathfinder model looks great. Love the small zippered pocket.Love the pattern on the Hedgeapple Hideaway ! :)
I really like the zipper top pocket on the pathfinder, great place to stash a call or wind powder.
I am wanting to order a mackinaw soon, maybe my wife will be exceptionally kind to me at Christmas.
Really like the looks of the Pathfinder! Hedgeapple Hideaway looks like it would work great for fall and winter hunts here in Southern Illinois.
Count me in on the give away
Like the looks of it but 2 things I would add
1 a half zip so you can vent and get on easier
2 have the kangaroo pocket fleece lined for those real cold sits
Other than that I think it will be a winner
the zip pocket great for cell phone, pocket all the way thru should be good on cold days to stick gloved hand in
Awesome products have a few and they do the trick.
Danny
I like the zip pocket and think the Hegeapple Hideaway would be great in a treestand.
Over the years Teresa has made many wool shirts, jackets, and coats for me. She's my go to Lady when I need more wool.

Big fan of my pull over! I'll be ordering the Pathfinder. I only wish this pattern, "Montana Magic," would come back.
Hunting this year for the first time in wool, and I went with a G. Fred Asbel Pullover in Timber Ghost. I love my wool pullover! It just feels more traditional than the camo clothes I've hunted in in the past, and keeps me comfortable over a fairly wide range of temperatures. Asbel has a customer for life.
I would like to possibly see a bino holder similar to what Day one does!
I think the Pathfinder will be great, I'd also like to see it w/ 1/4 zip for the on/off ease.
Cory

I have been able to literally LIVE IN a Pathfinder in some pretty cool places so far this year. 2 weeks ago, I slept in it most nights while on a canoe hunt
(http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h227/rnorris/IMG_0412_zpsauaz3u9f.jpg) (http://s65.photobucket.com/user/rnorris/media/IMG_0412_zpsauaz3u9f.jpg.html)
I joked with Teresa that maybe instead of "Hedgeapple Hideaway" we should have called it "Bracken Fern"

Looks good. Like the Evening Stand Green and the Olive Drab. Also like that it goes past the waistline so that you don't get a draft when you bend over.
Love the Hedge Apple color and the versatility of this jacket. Wool is the bomb!
Like the "evening stand green" and the zippered pocket is great for storing hand warmers. Wouldn't mind seeing an x-tra long (mid thigh)offering with a belt/sash.
I am a notorious "tab loser". I have made the zippered pocket my tab place. It worked great. 1 week in the bush, never lost a tab....which is amazing for me
I absolutely love my Evening Stand Green this time of year. Can't go wrong with any of the Asbell wool products. First class all the way.
A new to me/vintage Bear bow just arrived on my doorstep. I'm fixing to put on my ESG lightweight zip up and take this old Grizzly out for it's maiden voyage in the TN deer woods. Maybe I can post a success photo later tonight.
Edit: Well I finally got lucky. Here's my success photo from last night.

I like the design with one exception. I would prefer a zipper that goes most of the way down to the pocket for easier on and off and for better ventilation.
I like all the classic colors you have available and I would like if you could add either a windbreaker liner or a thin insulate liner not just to the Pathfinder but some of the other jackets you carry. Thanks
The hunter apple is a great color! I would love to see the olive drab in a black hatching like the other only bigger squares. Keep up the great work!
I love the looks of the new front pocket and I always liked the big hand warmer pockets in the asbell wool. The only improvement for me would be a full zipper model.
First I would like to thank you for the opportunity. I haven't had the chance to try your products, and cant give any suggestions. Maybe soon.
Thanks
Jeff
Nice pockets and love the patterns! I have a full zip hooded jacket (ESG) and vest (CS)and love wearing them. Often get comments on them from those who love plaids.
I really like the look and design of the pathfinder. I would love to have one.
I know it is probably much more difficult, but I would like to see wool pants as a product line.
Thanks for the opportunity!
If I were to be a lucky winner, I would choose the olive drab.
i to would choose olive drab. but i think it could be a bit longer to cover ya butt so ya got something to sit on and keep ya butt warm
Really like the new design -n- zippered pocket. Would like to see it in gray.
Just got my ESB and Teresa was very pleasant to work with as this was my first Asbell product. Fits and feels great. Really liking that EVG in the pullover.
I really like the evening stand green pattern. I would like to see a zipper that goes deeper than the standard 1/4 zipper to allow access to shirt pockets easier.
I love my timber ghost zip up jacket. Really warm in most temps and blends into Nebraska woods perfectly in the fall.
I love the Hedge Apple Hideaway with the zipper. It is just my style.
The extra pocket is a great addition, and would like it in hedge apple hideaway.
Herbp
I'm liking the evening stand green. The forward pocket is ideal and the length has always been a smart idea.
If there would be a way of reversing the the hood to fluorescent orange for those days we'er in the woods with the gun crowd, that would be a good option.
I think it is a great addition to the wool products,Would be nice in the heavy weight gray for late season.Would be nice with a heavy fleece lining for a hand warmer when cold...........

Love my Asbell wool, your colors and patterns are great.
I have been on the verge of ordering a pull-over for a long time and just haven't got the job done.
I love the hand warmer and the accessory pocket. Would also appreciate a zip down to the pocket, to help prevent overheating when climbing mountains.
Love the Evening Stand Green wool!
Thanks for the opportunity.

Love the Asbell wool! Got 2 of them and they are tough & warm! Thanks!
I like the contrast in the evening green pattern! A good break up look!
I really like the pockets and the evening stand pattern.
The hedge apple blends perfectly in the areas I hunt , mixed hemlock, thorn apple and golden rod . I really like the new pathfinder but really would like the 1/4 option to be able open it up to cool down or zip it up on those frosty mornings . The pocket is a great addition and really makes this a versatile piece of hunting gear .
I really like this style of pullover. The pockets are perfect. The quarter zip option would make it ultimate!! Thanks for your generosity!!
Okay.. Entry 1:
The pathfinder looks sweet and I think that zipper will be a handy feature. As for new products that I would like to see... I think a vest and/or zipper jacket with a thick, tall collar (as opposed to the hood or no hood options) would be a great new product. Sometimes I don't want the hood on but would love to be able to flip up a collar and keep the cold air off my neck.
Entry 2:
I have three Asbell products and love them all.
A grey blanket weight Anorak which I absolutely love when it gets cold. It worked out real well on a January morning when I killed this big six....

A heavy weight zipper jacket in Evening Stand Brown...

Third product is a olive green haversack that is dead silent and easy to access gear. I love it!
The new pathfinder pullover looks great, especially like the front through pocket. I've added it to my Christmas list. Would like to see a detachable hood with a collar to flip up like mentioned above. Thank you for your generosity!!!
I really like the kangaroo style front pocket and the zipper pocket. A 1/4 zip or button up would be great to help with getting it on over layers.
I've always liked the look of them. I would like one without a hood and front pockets. I have been looking for the perfect weight wool to hunt archery season in Colorado. Sometimes sitting in the timber can get pretty cold when not moving much.

Wow I really like the new design. Have been looking at which design to buy and I think the new pathfinder is it. Really like the hedge apple hideaway pattern as well.
Those are sharp. I'd really like to get ahold of one in timber ghost.
The grey looks great also.
I really like the pockets on the Pathfinder. The idea of 1/4 zip is nice but I've never had a problem getting my pullover on without it.
I love the pocket with a zipper on the front!
I just ordered the olive drab, should've went with the evening stand green.
My only suggestion is maybe make the sleeves a little long and cut thumb holes in them so the sleeves stay down and gloves can go over...just an option.
Thanks
I have 3 asbell wool products a gray pullover a timber ghost pullover and a timber ghost zip up jacket I won on a previous giveaway from the asbell said. They are the greatest products. I was wearing mine when I killed my first trad kill last year! Great stuff!
Entry 1: I just can't decide on weight, style, pattern....but that's a good thing; means I have lots of options! I would like to see more photos of the different patterns/styles, but I'll look back through this thread and probably find many.
Nice pants AND bibs would be great to see!!!!
Offset zipper angled slightly. I had a jacket once, it was easy to zip up at the angle and alowed easier access to the shirt pocket. That said, the jacket is wool at tethe working man's price point. My son loves his.
Wasn't cold enough for wool this day, but I think I found my twin in KSSHREWMAN lol (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/kodiak1028/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-11/FullSizeRender_zps0vpe6ryc.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/kodiak1028/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-11/FullSizeRender_zps0vpe6ryc.jpg.html) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/kodiak1028/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-10/DF243797-2C1B-4484-9F85-C907D843FB59_zpsebwoas53.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/kodiak1028/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-10/DF243797-2C1B-4484-9F85-C907D843FB59_zpsebwoas53.jpg.html)
:biglaugh:
That's absolutely crazy right there!!!!
Extra utility pocket up on chest with verticle zipper - maybe even one on each side
1/4 zip is good idea
small interior pocket
draw string at waist
thanks for the gesture
best regards
matt Green
I love the warmth of wool!
Love my wools and wouldnt trade them for the world. What I really like is being able to unzip or zip it up with just one hand. So well built.
here is timber ghost in the snow in the shadows(far right)

here is a deer I harvested while wearing my timber ghost....I don'y have it on here as I came back the next day to find the deer...originally shot from the ground ..I was seated on the edge of an alphalpha field in the tall grass on the edge..worked very well

Love the Evening Stand Green. Only enhancement I'd like to see is optional elastic at wrists. That said, my wife added that for me and I'm good to go! Great product for sure!!!

I would like to see more options in the timber ghost print.
Great pics trubltrubl!
I really enjoy my full zip evening stand green. The pullover looks good and I particularly like the zip accessory pocket. Since I do hunt some from tree stands and prefer to wear my outer layer over my safety harness, I would suggest a small opening at the top of the back of the garment to allow for the use of the safety harness and the hood at the same time.
I have yet to try any of the Asbell products but always look on the site. I'm really liking the pocket and zipper on the pathfinder! Like others have stated, a 1/4 zipper or longer would be the bees-knees. Love all the patterns and colors!
Me and the hubby will be fighting over this one! :)
I love mine. Only had two days to hunt last season. Took this doe wearing it on my first day out
(http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee393/seanb45/photo2_zps09f10914.jpg) (http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/seanb45/media/photo2_zps09f10914.jpg.html)
I have been hunting in the zippered wool jacket and the grey anorak. I like the anorak a lot but the look of the Pathfinder is sweet too. :archer:
I like the pull over in Green evening shade or whatever it's called.
Workmanship (womanship?) is superb.
Only, pulling it over on is easier then off and depending on what's under, it's more like a snake shedding skin then undressing in the field.
I wish I'd have a crystal ball to know she was going to come o ut with the full zipper one, and I'd have waited... :(
I just sweat too much to have it on going in and packing it and then undressing to put it on, with vest on, SOP, etc, is just way too much fuss in the bloody dark!
(http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc452/ghermon/Mobile%20Uploads/20150530_102723.jpg) (http://s1212.photobucket.com/user/ghermon/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150530_102723.jpg.html)
I have asked before, but would like to see some plaid patterns offered in blanket weight.
Fred and Teresa,
My personal favorite is the Evening Stand Green, followed closely by the Hedge Apple Hideaway and Evening Stand Green. In addition to the warmth and durability of wool I also very much appreciate the front hand warmer pocket for those frosty mornings and cool evening. I also like the zippered accessory pocket. The pattern of the Hedge Apple Hideaway and the Evening Stand Green provide background breakup, however I would have no hesitation in hunting dressed in the solid green of the Evening Stand.
What attracts me most to the Asbell clothing line is that it is stylish and reminisce of hunting big game and not armed combat. It brings back fond memories of the my grandfather returning from a successful Michigan deer-hunting trip in his red-plaid shirt. I remember the photographs of Fred Bear wearing a plaid shirt and the tartan twilled cloth of my Scottish ancesters. It reminds me of the countless photos of successful hunters in the 40's and 50's hunting game in clothing also appropriate for a weekend outing with family or friends.
In summary, I really appreciate the image presented by your Hunter Image attire. A hunter walking into a public place dressed in Asbell clothing presents the person, and hunters in general, in a positive light. Thank-you for your part in helping our hunting community project a favorable public image.

I just heard from Teresa that you can still get entered into the drawing until Halloween. On November 1st the winners will be drawn.
We will post the names here and you will have five minutes to claim... Just kidding. :bigsmyl:
We will post the winners here as well as instructions for the winners to claim their gear.
Good luck to all!! Good hunting!! :archer:
I actually do not own one, but have asked for one as a Christmas gift last year, and this year as well. Seems like a great, quality made product. I sure hope Santa hears me this year...haha.
Honestly, I don't think the wife agrees with more hunting "stuff", but I explained that this would enable me to sell off all the other junky old coats I have to wear!!!
Thank you for the give away, that is very generous of you.
Love the little pocket for keys & phone. Love all 3 patterns. Wind stopper would be a nice add on if it could be put in even for more money. Thank you for what you do.
Mine put to good use....

As everyone has said I like the pockets on the Pathfinder as well...
I would like to see y'all make a wool fleece lined beanie or stocking type hat , my bald head gets cold..
,,,,Sam,,,,
I am certain the Pathfinder would keep you very warm and would be quiet, but what I like about the look is the "old school" it brings to trad hunting.
What is not to like, very comfortable and WOOL.
What is not to like, very comfortable and WOOL.
I learned something this weekend....Hedgeapple Hideaway with a Cedar Swamp vest over top is the absolute ultimate pine tree camoflauge. The Hedgeapple mimics the color of dead pine bows perfectly, and the Cedar Swamp obviously blends with the live branches.
I'm thinking about ordering a Mackinaw Pullover mixing those 2 patterns! :bigsmyl:
I think the new pocket style will be great in cold weather with a big handwarmer!! Nice addition to the line!
Here I am wearing my Asbell wool on my 2011 Moose hunt

Awesome design
I would like to see you make it in a 1/4 zip also
The new hedge Apple hideaway is an awesome pattern.
I have a pullover in olive drab I bought from Fred at the Compton shoot a few years back and I wear it a lot when the weather is cooler.
Good grief I completely forgot about this. Thank you Teresa for emailing me or I'd have never known! Thank you for putting up the contest and for a great product! I love my other hoodie of yours. >>>---> Blessed!
Teresa,
In my stand with my Teresa Zip Jacket, told myself I needed another and the Pathfinder would look good under the Christmas Tree. Came home and Teresa had emailed me. Guys her wool is so comfortable and I wear mine all season. Excellent for layering. THANK YOU Teresa!
FMSCAM won, I told him to order a 3xl and I would shoot him for it during winter archery league. Congrats Frank
