Wish I'd taken my good camera with me!! LOL
great pics! the big guys will be frisky before we know it
Here everything seems to be running early. The Bucks have been shoving for several weeks. Tonight my son seen a decent buck checking does. Persimmons (from some of the more mature trees) are already getting hit hard.
It's gonna be fun soon!
Good to see!!!
And our persimmons are already all at up!!!
Nice!!!
Won't be long...
,,,Sam,,,
anticipation.....fall is actually running late in my neck of the woods.
Our persimmons don't usually drop until after the first frost. Most are still hanging. Lots of soft mast here. Apples hit well.
The only persimmons falling right now are large ones from mature trees, and the deer are hitting them hard. Just watched a young buck feed for 20 minutes under a persimmon tree. (Out of range). Only decent hard mast in this area are walnuts and hickory. Don't know where the deer will get enough fat for the winter.
Just recently got a smart phone. Never dreamed I would be posting on here from a tree stand!
I'm impatient with a short attention span, I woulda smoked one.
Nice pic!
I watched two 2-year-olds go at it on and off for over 30 minutes the other night! It was quite a show too.

Heck, all I got is time, and there are bigger ones out there. I'm both a meat and antler hunter, but there are plenty of does too for the meat side of it.
persimmons been falling behind my house for a month. and they are rotting now.
That's cool. I haven't seen a lot of movement in our area... But honestly haven't spent enough time in the woods for that statement to be 100% accurate
Good stuff Ken!
Nice! That is one of my favorite stands if it is the one I think it is.
Nope, only hunted the lease once(saw 13 deer) before the first group, like to leave the deer alone there for the incoming guys.
My bro has a farm with some cover unlike my patch of switchgrass and being a nice guy he lets me hunt there.... :) (I do keep him in new longbows tho :D )
Things heating up on the lease!!!
Good Luck Kenny!
