Thinking of buying one going back to Canada to hunt bear again this year. You guys that have one what do you think of it, and most importantly is it noisy? My rain gear sounds like I'm starting a chain saw when I draw back and it's time to open the wallet. Also does it keep you dry as well? Thanks guys. I have some of there stuff as well and love it, but I'm open to other brands as well I'm not all about one brand

I have three other rain jackets beside the FL Stormtight. Two made with gore and one with eVent. I relation to the other jackets, my FL is on the less noisy side, but I wouldn't say it's "stalking" quiet. If it's raining hard enough for me to put on that jacket, I'm typically not trying to stalk animals close enough to shoot (given my hunting situations and environment).
In terms of keeping me dry, so far it's held up in Hawaii, but I've never tested it in "Alaska weather". I feel it's characteristics are very similar to eVent. Waterproof, yet breathable.
Here's a link to some reviews that are posted on the website. http://www.firstlite.com/boundary-stormtight-jacket.html

My hunting partner bought one and sent it right back. He was surprised how noisy it was...FWIW

You are not going to find a good rain jacket that is quiet like wool. I have the first light jacket and it is quieter than my Gore-Tex one from Cabela's, MT-50

I have a set of Rivers West that is really quite.

When they are wet, like from the rain you have it on for, it's quiet as a mouse.
