Hey Guys, I am trying a Great Northern Strap on with my Tall Tines, and I was wondering if anyone had a picture of how they mounted it? I have tried it a few different ways, but I wanted to see how others do it. Thanks in Advance!!

Someone posted pics...so not really a wrong way. Position it so it feels right and does not interfere with you holding the bow both during shot and carrying. Put tabs in nonworking area of limb/fadeout if the adjustable model.
Wrap straps so they stretch some with a wrap or two. If more than one wrap I criss cross them a little to keep the PIN exposed more for the final wrap when I put the strap over it to hold tight.
Then I tuck any loose strap back up under the arm or something so dont flop too much.
Those things never slip....just keep messing with it.
I prefer to strap my quiver on the fadeout section of the limb, next to the riser.

I agree with Ryan-more spacing is better-and right on the limbs next to the riser is perfect. I do prefer them on a TallTines though :D

I am trying one on my Tall Tines recurve and I put the straps on th limbs right next to the risre like the two above. Seems to work well.
Steve O, is that the Kickback or Kickback Extreme?
I'm back to shooting longbows. That Stickflinger sure is tempting... ;)

I did it like Sean B when I had mine
Ryan, I like the KB Extreme on just about everything but the little Super Shrews or one piece 50s style stuff like a Great Northern Ghost. I've only got one KB and four or five Extremes. The Stickflinger is an awesome piece. Just punished one for two weeks 20 miles from the Arctic Circle; quite a contrast to your backyard! I don't have any photos uploaded yet but picture snow falling in the river and there is a delay waiting for it to melt.

Thanks Guys!!! I hope you all have a great season!
Agree with others...I prefer fadeout area of bow limbs on longbows or recurves...and get the adjustable so I can use same one for both. Here it is on one of my selfbows.

Best of luck to you Charlie!
Steve O, exactly what I wanted to know about the quivers. Mahalo! Can't wait to hear the story and see those images!!!
