a few months ago I saved a couple pictures off of the internet of some bows that I saw, now that I am ready to build another bow I can't remember where I got the pictures to identify this wood type does anybody know what kind of wood is used in these risers and limbs

Macassar Ebony riser, Zebrawood limbs on the left.
Koa limbs on the right, not certain on the riser wood. Maybe lighter toned Macassar or Shedua??
Glad Allen showed up.
All I could come up with was "Brown" and "Darker Brown"!
Bisch
How did you save the pictures did they have a name from the site that they came from or the name of the wood in the address of the image?
If you saved them but you didn't name the woods or you didn't rename the picture the address might be within the title of the image you saved
My brother owns the bow on the left. Allen is correct.
finally found the site where the pics came from you were right on thanks
Great. I really need to proofread voice command that post of mine was really butchered I just edited it as it was ridiculously quoted but I'm glad you figured it out from what was posted on my thread in a jumbled up manner
Yep, Schafer Silvertip onpiece bows. Keith knows, the one on the right appears to be shedua riser with koa vaneers.
Shedua and Koa
Macassar and Zebra
