good luck this season,Burt
That's a beautiful looking bow!
I'm hunting this season with a Don Dow stik. 58" 50@28. They are really great bows, can't beat em for the price. I may order another from Rich sometime, right now I have my eyes on a new 59 Kodiak.
My new black widow psa x 62 inch 42 @ 29 dark ziricoti riser no red or white low wrist grip and spalted maple limbs
I was fortunate to find a pristine Ron Maulding Bighorn Longbow this spring. She is a bit stouter than any of my other bows, but draws and shoots so nicely that I worked up to it in no time. The specs are; 70" 72#@28" with about an inch of back set, and a straight grip. Best of luck to all.
Yep 62" 53@28 Tall Tines. gold tip camo 35/55 with zwickey eskimo 2 blade. same arrow set up last 5 years.
I'll be using a 56" thunderstick mag I got last fall too late for hunting season. I have never hunted this bow before, we'll see how she goes.
I'll be hunting with my Dave Johnson longbow. She scales 51# @ 28 " on my scales, and is 66" long. I'm shooting GT 35-55 cut 30" Bop, with 160 grain Tusker deltas mounted on 100 grain steel adapters.
My go-to bow is my trusty Sarrels Blueridge longbow. 64" long and 50#@29 1/2". Ziricote riser with red phenolic and bamboo accent stripe, and black walnut limbs with bamboo cores.
I just re-read the title of your thread. My bow is not new or new to me, but it is my go-to, none the less!
Bisch
I have a new Falco Storm 45# @ 28" that i would like to use. I have never hunted with a bow but really want to this year. It has always been a rifle for me. I hope to make my first deer kill this year with a bow.
My new honey stick is not scheduled to arrive till December, so I will use my old stand-by for another season. I have a yew Shelton on order with Steve Turay at Northern Mist and am looking forward to it.
My opening day bow will be a Hill Half Breed. I'll also be hunting with a David Miller and a few other ASL's throughout the season
