How do you guys align your 2 blade broadheads when gluing? Vertical, horizontal, angled?
I don't glue mine because I don't shoot wood arrows, but I do set all mine up to be horizontal as I draw back with my bow canted.

Whatever winds your clock. As long is the bow and arrow are well tuned it won't make a bit of difference.
I prefer mine laying horizontal.
Horizontal at my "canted" full draw.
I set mine at 1 and 7.
My broadheads are about 10 and 5. I think it the most important thing to consider is that all heads are aligned the same.
Awesome, I appreciate it. I am less than 3 years into traditional archery. Always interested in watching and listening to what others have had success with.

Are you, by chance, left handed?
Bisch
Horizontal as a personal preference for unobstructed field of view.
3-9 for me horizontal
i like mine about 11-5
yes bisch i'm lefty
Horizontal to my cant of my bow.
Just a question but does it actually matter ? I've always heard it didn't for a well tuned arrow somebody educate me :dunno:
I meant 10 and 4. I am right handed, but I shoot left wing feathers. I get good arrow flight with that alignment. I've noticed that if my broadheads aren't aligned the same, they will group differently, especially out to 25 yards or so. I wouldn't think it would matter for a 3 blade though.
I glue mine on (woodies). I make sure the arrow is straight, then put the head in with hot melt. Then I put it on the spin tester and spin. If it wobbles, I re-heat and re-twist. Keep doing it until my arrows spin true. Wherever the head is oriented after that, so be it. I dont shoot gaps so I dont even really see the head when I hunt except for peripherally and unfocused.
Also 3-9
I align mine horizontal. My thought is if there is a cross wind at time of a shot that the wind won't have as much to push on as the arrow begins its flight.
doesn't matter as far as I know, but I have always lined mine up vertically, to me horizontal catches my eye more, where a vertical head is pretty un noticeable that is with a 2 blade anyway..
It really doesnt matter if your set up is tuned. I set my Zwickeys essentially lined up with the string "canted" when at full draw. Works for well for me and the broadheads disappear at full draw. I should add that I tune my arrows with broadheads installed and shoot broadheads 99% of the year.
I align mine so the arrow spins true, however they come out. I don't think it really matters, at least I've never noticed a difference.
If your arrows are tuned well, it does not make a difference. The reason I align mine all the same, and horizontal, is to make the sight picture look the same on every shot.

About 4:30 for me. I'm on a roll, sorry,

No particular angle. I just go with whatever angle lines up well and spins true.
I used to want them 11 & 5 so when I canted the bow the blades would disappear,, but the past couple years i just leave them where they spin the best,, even 2" wide treesharks I don't pay attention anymore and don't notice and difference in flight.
Good idea on the spin test. Hadn't heard of that. Do you just use a cresting machine?
Horizontal
However they wind up is fine with me.
I dont, not a huge fan of crested arrows. Mine is handmade, I used teflon coated nails to create two "X" cradles and mounted a board on the end that the tip lines up on. If theres any wobble the tip makes an arcing or oblong track. I use it for straightening arrows and also tip alignment. Not fancy but sufficient for my tastes.
I align my two blades with one in line with the cock feather and the other where it lays. 3 blades are aligned with the feathers. No other reason then a touch of OCD.
On wood I glue the BH on horisontal and spin the arrow if there is no wobble then I'm good to go. If I feel a wobble then I will reheat and turn the BH until I get no wobble.
I do the same with alum. and carbon. I like my BHs horizontal but it really doesn't matter as long as they spin free.
I like mine vert.. no particular reason but all the heads are aligned the same so I always have the same sight picture. I do not want to look down the shaft and "see" something different. My mind has limited 'RAM'-- at the time of truth, I do not want any thing new that may cause my mind to wander.

I align mine vertically mostly. Sometimes I'll get one that I keep turning to take wobble out, then it ends up where it ends up. I have done some horizontal on a couple arrows that were 1/4" too short and the back of the broadhead would hit my finger and throw off my concentration if mounted vertical. End result, I can shoot them however they come.
I've never paid attention to this...I just make sure they spin true.
If I take the time....I like them horizontal for the sight picture and the hand clearance.
