I put 40# hoyt quattro limb on my 19" buffalo riser, it become 45# in my 27" draw length. I want find the arrow short(maybe cut in 28") and with thin shaft in 9GPP(don't like heavey arrow). Budget is lower than $200 per dozen. Anyone can give me some suggetions in this situation? I will appreciate that!
Beeman centershot or easton axis 500 spine should fit the bill. Should be well under 150 for everything
Vap arrows would work too plus they are lighter grains per inch.
I shoot 48#@29" quattros and am loving my VAP 400 cut at 30" with firenock outsert and 200 grn point. total arrow is 470. And I have shot completely through a deer and bear this season. Great limbs! Light arrow but shoot awesome and penetrate great. I dont recomend the VAP inserts, they bend easily.
I would think you would need a 600 spine arrow maybe something like a Gold tip 1535...thanks BeauJ
