Got the bow all set up with quiver loaded and fanny pack set up. Got the deer cart out and loaded up all my gear in the truck. Pulled my trail cam card tonight and had a couple very nice P&Y class bucks on it.
Was all set to hit the woods after work tomorrow and try to put one of my shooter bucks on the ground. Called my buddy tonight to see how is elk hunt went and tell him about the nice bucks I had o camera. That's when he gave me the bad news that our season doesn't start till Friday :knothead:

I don't think I'd be sleeping very well.

Lot's of dreaming going on. I had the back buck last year at 15 yards but I was in my ground blind and he was straight on. Stared at the blind for what seemed like forever. I was very tempted to take the shot but did not want to risk wounding such a great deer. Two other times he walked right by me at first light. I ended up shooting a buck that was with him a little short of the one he is with this year.
