the Magnus stingers came in . I shot several shots and from what I can tell they shoot fine. some shots were not good. it others were on the money. they looked like they flew straight. I had some arrows touching field pt and broad head. my distance was only 16 yds. on a side note, do I need to sharpen the ones I do not shoot? I used one for practice..they don't feel razor sharp out of the pack but that my just be how it is.
My judge for good arrow flight is to get the FP/broadhead hitting the same place as far out as I care to shoot. Stingers are great heads and there isnt a better flying head.
They come OK sharp but you can do a LOT better and certainly if you practice with one you re-sharpen. I can sharpen em up for you if you want but the nice thing about the stingers is they arent hard to get smokin sharp and they stay that way too.
ok good to know. yeh I would never hunt with an u sharpened head. I will em touch up. thanks for the help!
With the Stingers you can take one out of the package and make a big difference by stropping on a piece of leather or cardboard. The same may also be true of the ones you practice with depending on the backstop material.
I will start by saying I have no experience with stingers but every other head I have ever shot has needed to be sharpened both out of the pack and after practicing with them.

Not the old Silver Flames, can't speak to the new ones.
