This is a Proto one piece broadhead coming out soon.
300 gr, 250 gr, 200 gr, 175 gr.
This broadhead pictured was test shot into a cement block 2 times straight on and one on an angle glancing off, All 3 arrows broke. An old stop sign 6 times, Broadhead still spins perfect, Edges touched up on my Work Sharp, This Broadhead will still hunt as good as a new one. A true 50-55 Rockwell hardness.
Looks like a good head. Wonder the cost. Any idea?
You sure have a knack for broadhead design Bob. What's the cutting diameter.
Cost is going to be $49.50/3.
cutting Dia. is 1.20" And this can vary, if you want 1.5" we can do it but material costs go up.
I'm a big fan of 300 grain at 1.125" so this is what I'm into. I shoot 44-50# at 26" on a good day, I've just had too many good things at that setup. I have to say this is all done in house, Nothing is sent out to be heat treated or coated or anything. So knowing not everybody what 300 gr. this design will go to 175gr.
Thanks for the interest.
Bob
Those look good!
Bisch
Is it a screw on or glue on?
Screw in, only.
Very nice indeed, I like the fact it is being done "in house". Gives me the impression of "handmade".
May need to try some out.
is it better then VPA or Grizzly
Other than the Rockwell hardness and price, how does your broadhead differ from the VPA? Type of steel? Coating? Length?
Thank you
Mark
Very nice Bob. I will order me some 175's once they are ready
Its a 3 blade Broadhead.... Cutting length of blade is 2.7" tool steel. Sorry but I don't get into this vs that vs that.A High quality broadhead, that can also be made from Stainless steel if you want it. Some real good quality 3 blade heads out there, now you have one more to choose from.
Bob
I'll have 20ea.300 gr and 3ea.250 gr. ready to ship Monday.
I'll have 13ea. 300 gr and 3ea.250 gr. ready to ship Monday.
Thank you for your response. Just trying to make a informed discussion.
Bob,
I sent you a pm.
Going to have to try these when you get the 175 gr. out.
It looks like the ferrule of the head is larger than the shaft, is that a 5/16" shaft? If so, we have a winner here, no shaft hang up on the way through.
Looks like a good head! The 250 grain would work great for me.
First production run of 300 gr. and 250 gr.
We will probably have to name them before long.

Bob....can u get 1.5s in 175 grain?
It will have be a shorter version. We may do 100,125,150 Grain. But an 1.5" at 175 gr. I don't think the blades would hold up, you got to lose the weight somewhere.
Ok thank

Bob These look almost the same as the Optek 300 Xtreem. Did you buy them out?
Bob, Are they going to be hunting sharp or do they need sharpened?
Good looking broadhead Bob !!!
Bill
The only thing close to the 300 Xtreme is the 3 blades. I still have about 20 300 extremes. Most won't spend the $30 a head to shoot them.
They are my hunting sharp, but who knows by the time you receive them, a touch up by pulling over 120 sand paper seem to bring them to where I can shave hair on my arm and they will hold the edge.
This is not my broadhead, I did help in the design, and testing that I'm very happy with. They are made 8 miles from my house, so I can make sure they stay right.
Lethal design and specs.
We are offering a lifetime warrantee for these broadheads, warranty is unconditional and covers against bending and breakage that occurs under normal hunting conditions. Your own testing, shooting into concrete, steel, stone is Not covered.
We already did all of that it was a blast, and not all survived, This design did. But I'm sure with enough arrows I or you could break anything broadhead built. Toughest to date that I've tried to break.
James, Been a real long time... Let me know what you want to try, I'[[ get you fixed up.
Bob
I'd be interested in 200s when/if they get made. Thanks
Looks pretty impressive!
We gota Name...."Maxium".. Stainless steel is double $99.90 for 3ea..
Been mostly two blades for a while, those have my attention. Any 200 grains yet??..
Any chance of a glue on?
Those look very nice Bob!
Might have to give them a try next season.
Mike
A glue on will not work with the design we have. The 175 and 200 gr. are in the works, could be a month yet.
Mike what grains do you shoot?
Bob,
On my moose rig I shoot 200 up front including insert so the 175 will be perfect. I won't need them until spring as my elk rig is already set for this year.
Mike
Any 300gr left? Looking to get some this week.
I have 9ea. 300 gr. in stock now. More of everything coming next week. Nothing like waiting until hunting seasons are just coming in to introduce a new Broadhead :bigsmyl:
excellent, let me know the best way to order the 6 from you. they look like some great heads and finally some one who makes a full 300gr.
Just call or e-mail me and I'll get them to you.
sounds good thanks.
Are these 3 blade or two blade ? Sorry... just come off night shift and I'm not sure...lol.
After bending a VPA on the shoulder of a Warthog in Africa last month... I'm looking to change heads.
cheers,
ak.
Al,these are 3.
"Most won't spend the $30 a head to shoot them"
Would like to try the 200 grains, and no offense, but $16.50 a head is out of my price range too...
Al, I really don't think you will bend or break these on any animal.
Z, sorry about the price. But the steel isn't free yet. And I can't get the guy and his CNC to work for free either, I get to work on them also, I do get my heads free (6 will last me at least 2 years or more)knowing this BH and having shot and hunted with most all 3 blades built, $16.50 is more than a fair price for this Broadhead.
And the warranty.
Thanks Bob. I'm liking what I see so far mate...
Cheers.

that is a small price to pay for a head that is backed with a warranty like that. There is only one other head I know of with a warranty like that, the cutthroat. I think its around the same price.
Yep, I agree the heads and a warranty. The price is pretty good. I already made my first order and I am sure I will order more... I tend to loose my arrows in the thick brush.

Eclipse has a similar warranty.
