These are custom made braces so I can walk normally again, so I can hunt this year, if I can find a bow to do so with. 36" minimum draw, but looking for 40" or so. Getting stronger, but you take longer to overcome a lost eye.

Wish you the best.

keep on keepin' on, and good luck to you!
-
Keep it up, you can do it!
-
That is so cool, I am pumped for you.

I thought I had arms like a gorilla, how do you draw 40"?
-
44" is my max, try that one on.
The braces are Allard Toe-Offs with a custom bit of kit above the knee to constrain motion and deal with the worst case of knock knee he had ever seen. The right leg has a click when extending the leg, how to shut that up before the woods?

I think he's referring to draw weight.

Keep after it, and NEVER QUIT!
Prayers still being sent up for you.
And I'm pretty sure he meant draw length.

True inspiration Brother!

Your determination is awe inspiring. Keep it up!

Learning how to walk again is hard to do. Been there. Keep it up! You'll be up and hunting in no time.
-
Ed, I knew you'd pop back up, man! I hope things calmed down in your life while you've been UTR. Keep after it.
-
Ed, you're one tough son of a gun. I give you a lot of credit, my friend.
Wish I could help you out with a bow. I hope you can come up with one.

Looks like your coming along. Dont give up. Youll be back before you know it.

Sean B is hooking me up with an old 40# 66" Hoyt, and I'll be pulling 30" with it. It's a chance to heal, expand my abilities and get out there without wheels or shotgun (every time, hunting with dad's shotgun is tradition) and just keep at it.
I have 125 gr heads and field points and a sheaf of black uncut feathers, but no more gear for American trad besides my wife's 28# bow. Any idea where to start?
I'm not leaving the Asian stuff, but my left arm needs to heal more. Those bows ain't light.

Been praying for you,and it looks like it worked. Keep at it,and glad you're doing so much better.

Keep at it! Nothing can stop forward progress.
