Title: Buying a Predator Hunter Takedown Need Feedback
Post by: Joe Mc on August 29, 2015, 09:41:00 PM
Hi guys,
I'm buying a new Predator Hunter Takedown and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them or has any experience with them, and would be willing to share that with me.
Thanks

The Predator hunter is a great recurve. They shoot hard and fast, the only complaint you ever hear about them is the grip. But there is nothing wrong with the grip, reminds me of a super Kodiak grip. I think you will be happy with your new bow. post some pictures when you get.

Thanks, I will.  I have owned and shot a super Kodiak and the Kodiak Take down, and liked them both.  I love take downs and with all the negative feedback on the Kodiak Take down, not to mention the price is higher than the Predator, I leaned more to the Predator.

The predator hunter is probably one of the best bangs for your buck in trad bows. Be sure to check out the other thread on predator bows that is on the PowWow now.

I shot one at a show this year...shot really well pulled really smooth, but that grip...for me...was way to big and uncomfortable. I just couldn't get a feel for it. I even have a good size hand and long fingers and it just never settled into my hand. I really suggest trying to find one to shoot. For that same money there are alot of options out there. Good luck
