I have wiped all the drool off my computer after looking at Donald and Danny's Morrison TDs. I think I have this problem under control now...so, if you wouldn't mind, let's see yours too. I would like to see the different wood combos. Not ready to order one...yet. Just getting ideas for now. Thanks for indulging me!

Did that bow kiss some rocks? Looks like some chuncks missing from the front of the riser.
Antler overlay.
I'm betting that's just a piece of antler glued to the front of the riser.
Snag, "Don't go into the light!" (from the movie Poltergeist)
Bob Morrison's bows are top-notch...as is Bob himself.
I'm trying not to Native, but I'm getting weaker! What is the wood in the bow Vermonster? I'm a little surprised that his limb bolt receivers go all the way through the riser. I know other bowyers started capping that with wood veneer because of moisture getting in, around and eventually under the metal. This caused problems with the finish around that area. I sure like the lines and the cone!
Those are different bows Snag. The top one is Madagascar Ebony. The bottom one I forget now. I traded bowhunter4life for that one a while ago. I have other pics of ones I've had, but I don't want to overload you.
Here is mine 48#@27

Great shooting and great looking bows, these are mine. They are hard to resist!!
So, I noticed some have that overlay where the limb bolt is. Is that an option? Thanks guys, these are sooo nice!
Here's mine.......(thanks Dave)......

David
All the Shawnee limbs have that overlay. The Cheyenes are a different design and the bolt goes through the limb and screws into the riser. The Shawnees go through the riser and screw into the limb. Hope that helps clear that up.
Man I can't believe how many Morrison owners on here have a name that starts with D. That is so eerie.
Hey bowhunterinchile, Looks like you got a Cheyene like mine. Except mine does not have the skins. Don't you just love how that Osage mellows with age.
"Man I can't believe how many Morrison owners on here have a name that starts with D". Hmmmm, sounds like it is meant to be for me.....David
Nakohe,
Not exactly the same mine is Osage and a beautifuly figured piece of Cocobola. My bow was build in 2002 and the Osage just keeps getting richer in color. I think it just gets better as I like the darker color. Osage is a beautiful wood and goes with just about any other wood.
James
just a couple more weeks until I have my new ILF. Then the love affair starts, and I'll show pictures of M'Bowgo, Black Bow Death Sender.
Snag, Gotta agree with you on Morrisons=D name...DDDoc

Numba Four in the works...
Yep, that osage reminds me of caramel...sweet tooth for bows!
JC, love the combos and 2# with the quiver colors it looks great! Three of them? I am miserably out of the loop! Are the first two "med grips"?
Her's one of mine (http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f294/jmmccrum/March07download044.jpg)
Snag, Numba One is a grip that Bob and I worked on together, shipping back and forth until I got it the way I wanted. It's technically a medium grip but has a pretty good palm swell...it's my favorite. We are going to duplicate this grip on the new riser.
#2 is a Med/low with a very thin throat...my second favorite.
#3 is a med grip with a bit of a palm swell but I just sent it to Bob to cut it down a bit lower...I tend to shoot high with it like it is.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.
Hey Arrow Slinga,
What did you ask for when you ordered that grip? I think Bob once called it His personal grio style. I always thought it would be great!
B.
Yes, I had him do it just like his own personal grip. I shot his bow at a trad show here in Mi. and it just fit me perfect,it's the best grip I have ever had on a bow!!
Just missed out on one in the classifieds! ARGGHHH! Probably for the best though. This way I can order exactly like I want it.
