I have had both.  Both outstanding.  The Baraga is more of mild hybrid that braces to more of a classic "D" shape but found it to be just as quick as the whip and a little more dead in the hand.  The Baraga also seemed to be a little more beefier - like it might hold up to a pounding better.  The whip was a slender beauty and a top performer. I really liked the standard whip grip with the thumb rest.  Made for a very repeatable grip. Tough choice.  You will be a winner either way you go.  I am sure others will weigh in.

I have a super D and a Baraga. the Super D is a work of art that shoots as good as she looks. The Baraga on the other hand is more Hill like. Built like a tank and I shoot the Baraga just a bit better. both Bows are top shelf but if I must I would go Baraga.

I have both, and my vote goes to the Whip, maybe I'm just partial. Although in my opinion they are different birds of a feather, the Baraga being a mild R/D and the whip being a heavier R/D.

Both are excellent bows, but the whip just seems to be a little smoother, and a bit faster. And this is comparing a 55# Baraga to a 48# Whip.

PS: And by the way, my Baraga is up for sale.
