Title: Interesting blunt/snaro I came across
Post by: Tyler C. Moore on August 14, 2015, 10:57:00 AM
I came across this online and though I would share. It looks like a nice design and well made. I would imagine it is homemade?

I just stump and small game shooting.. Cool head

Looks home made.
I did the same with a fieldpoint and fishing wire.
It does not affect arrow flight.

Top Hat cool design but the price is to rich for my blood. The homemade jobby at the top sure spawns some ideas. I have some 200 gr hex blunts  Maybe a drill and some weed whip string could possibly make a cool unlosable heads hmmmmmmmm?

This ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
Is another top hat knock off. I personally have tried all kinds of head, lots of home made, and about every factory made one out there.
This particular design is my favorite. I have yet to lose one. Been shooting the same doz for close to a year now is guess.

The weed eater line is .135 , the muddy pic was taken after 70 shots, from ten yards into the grass/ground to see if they would break. I finally had one of the arms break off, and it's a simple fix with a pair of leathermans.

I'd forgotten about those Brian.  Need to make a few up for this fall.

Almost $15 for a head you plan to shoot into the weeds, that is insanity.

Zippercurve COOL head I purchased one on the big bay about 3 years ago. Works great.

Here are a few I have made up over the years, used them mainly for archery golf. They are the best head to use when stump shooting in the snow!

Tim those are awesome.. Leave it to you to be inventive.. Only problem is they won't fit in any of the quivers you have made that I use haha!! Th ask for posting.

Did you drill out a blunt and epoxy in weed water line ?
