Has anyone used an XOP climbing stand wondered how they compare to the Lone wolf climbers. They look very similar.
Some recent discussion here:

I did a search here but nothing came up. Thanks for the link but there is not much comparison about their climbers.
I've been looking into the XOP hand climber. I haven't been able to determine if they make the longer cables to go around a bigger tree. If so, I'm going to order one. Guess I'll have to give them a call.
I know a couple those folks had more inside info on the last discussion than I do but from what I see they are fairly the same stand?
I doubt you go wrong with either. I had a LW climber I used for yrs. they are great stands.
I am going to use an assault hang on this yr with just a couple sticks. I am just not going to worry about getting terribly high.
Lone Wolf is made in the USA. I think maybe XOP has taken the lone wolf design to CHINA to be made. That makes enough of a difference to me even if the price is more. Just my opinion.

agreed.. when the lonewolf tried china production the quality was very noticeable .. then they brought them back to be made here
the summit open shot changed my life. cable system is easy to put on the tree. I aint sure but it weighs 19 pounds.
The guy that bought the company from Andre moved production to China. I believe XOP is located and made in Iowa.
I saw a few of the XOP stands the other day and they all said made in China.
