Had to see how them woods penetrate with a Simmons head. Blew right through! None of the carbon arrows went completely through and of the hogs I have shot with the 47# Palmer

The good news is that whole pig is the size of the elk vitals. The fact that you made a great shot on it tells me you won't have any problems putting one in an elk!
