You're never too old to be out hunting!
Bill Carlos a friend of my families is here in Ohio visiting for the week and asked if he could sit in my stands a couple of days while he was here. I showed him my three stands and told him he could sit in which ever stand he wanted when ever he wanted to.
Yesterday morning he shot a button buck, tracked it, field dressed it, dragged it, and hung it at my house all by himself at 78 yrs. young. Iasked him why he didn't get my dad to help him (dad's on vacation) and he said he could do it and didn't need the help.
Way to go, never to old!
great story
OUTSTANDING  :campfire:
AWESOME  :notworthy:
That's awesome! I can only pray that I'll reach that age and be healthy enough to do that!
That's inspirational. Kinda makes me feel guilty for complaining about the "work" that I have to do after killing a deer.

Good deal, Mad Dog! Tell Bill Hey from me.
I'm heading out there the first week end of Nov. Gotta borrow that horseshoe Bobby has stashed in his drawers, tho! Me an Junior are gonna show them Ohio bucks a thing or two.

Sounds great Ryan. Bring some pics of your "hairy cow" hunt.
Good for him!
Way to go Bill!!!
I hope we are all able to do the same at that age and beyond
Great going Bill. Now I am not to worried about getting old. But sometimes youth is wasted on the young,LOL.
Awesome! Great story and inspiring for anyone with the heart of a hunter. Thanks for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
PS: I can tell you that this getting old isn't for the faint of heart. It takes a little longer to get to the stand but allows us to sit still longer.
Very cool. I only hope I can do the same some day. :clapper:
:archer: Gotta love it.
Way to set a good example for the rest of us Bill!!! :clapper: :clapper:
