I'd like to get the riser of my Toelke Lynx checkered before hunting season. Dave Windauer is to busy to do it, I've got an email into Tall Tines. Anybody else I'm missing?
Jim Neaves at centaur, and Kent Roberts at Timberghost are the first that come to mind, though I've heard Kent is no longer taking custom orders so he's probably too busy as well.
Key doesn't checker as much as stipple and carve...but to my knowledge both do outstanding work.
Jake
Dave Widnauer at Silvertip.
Brian Wessel at Talltines.
Forgot to add I'm not a fan of stippling, had a Centaur with it that ate me up. But I love checkered, go figure.
Biath, I'm not one to ..... and tell. :-)))
You all could have mentioned that the auto correct had beat me again! Lol. It's been edited.

I do but am booked for the next six months.
God bless, Steve
Brad, I believe Sherry Abraham does Brian Wessels checkering for him.

Bob Morrison may do it.
Wes Wallace checkers risers as an option on his bows, couldn't hurt to give him a call...
Have a buddy who had south cox checker his riser.
I have two Schafer 1 pc recurves. One checkered, one not. I like the feel of the checkered but prefer the traditional look of the uncheckered.
I can do checkering with a 1 week turn around.
Brian, at Tall Tines does his own checkering now.
