Title: Onestringer wraps on AD arrows
Post by: graybarkhunter on July 09, 2015, 10:08:00 AM
With the rectangular wrap and a tapered shaft to put it on, are there any tips/tricks to put the wrap on without creases or gaps?  What size wrap would I need so there won't be any spaces ..Am I overthinking this? Anybody got this figured out?thanks, Seth

One stringer has the sizes you need under the FAQ. All the AD shafts take the 1.125. I just roll them on using a mouse pad. Lay the wrap on the pad get it started straight on the shaft and roll it on.  No problems.

I think you are over thinking it.I have put Onestringer wraps on my AD's.I use a 1" wide and 7" long.I put them on the same as I would a parallel shaft. The AD shaft is not that steep a taper for the first 7".Their in minimal misalignment of the cresting lines if you use a Trad wrap.Solid colors no problem at all.
