I had placed all of my bow strings in a storage bow and I must have mixed both Dacron, Fast Flight, and 450 Strings into one pile. Now I am looking for a string for my High Sierra Recurve Bow and my other strings. Does anyone have any advice on how to tell the Dacron strings apart from the others? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
If they are Flemish... you can try and cut the small tags...
Dacron cuts fairly easily with scissors... fast flight is very tough to cut...

Also Dacron burns and ff melts..
If you can burn it, the 450+ will burn in two strands, one a little slower than the other. Nail clippers will cut Dacron easily, but won't cut 450+. Shouldn't cut FF easily either.
Thanks Guys. I'll try all of these suggestions. I don't want to put a fast Flight or a 450 String on a bow that cannot handle either.
Yup, burn them all just above their center.
You still may not know which is which but now you can get all new strings and make certain the B50 strings are a certain color ! Voila !
