Title: Checkmate Hunter II limbs on Hunter riser
Post by: indianalongbowshooter on June 30, 2015, 10:01:00 PM
Does anyone know if Hunter II limbs will work on a regular Checkmate Hunter riser.. My Hunter is a 56 in. bow and the limbs are from a 58 in. Hunter II..

Good Morning ilbs , Chek-Mates risers are made from a jig rather than computer aided . The difference in reflex with the oringinal Hunter TD and 11 is around I I/2 in and am quite sure the limb pockets are the same configuration .
As a point of interest the difference the original and and the latest riser is half that .

Cheers from the Country that has everything except the Stanly Cup ....

So if the limbs on the Hunter II are 45# are they gong to lose weight when put on the Hunter riser, sounds like thats whats going to happen if losing reflex..

I asked Marc  (Chek Mate) bowyer the same question and the answer was yes they will fit. You will also lose a couple of pounds when you put the limbs on the Hunter II riser because the throat of the grip is a little farther forward. Similarly you will gain a pound or two when going to the Hunter I riser. I've got both but the diff is very slight.
