So I hit 1000 posts, I thought I would just put up a short recap of my trad experience shown in pics. Almost everything I know about Traditional archery has came from Tradgang. I really appreciate the tips, help, and gifts from my fellow stick slingers. Included are the highlight pics over the past years, with a caption as well.
Here is my first traditional kill. Meant the world to me, taken with a #45 Samick Deermaster.

Got my buddy Ethan (hensone) into this addictive stuff too, here is his first deer with a stickbow, that's my Omega Native he was shooting, gave it to him and it is his go to hunting rig.

Ive come to like zwickey broadheads, they are cheap and work well. A great combination for someone who slings a lot of pointy sticks.

Tradgang introduced me to the joys of pig hunting, and now I go at least 2-3 times a spring. Special thanks to tarponnut, (Jim Dussias) as he got me started pig hunting, and is becoming a good friend as well as hunting buddy.

So thanks to you all, you turned something like traditional archery from something that was a challenge, into a way of life. Thanks to all my friends I have met on here, and all the kind gestures and tips you have given me. I hope I can just pass it on like you guys did. Good shooting and God bless you all

Your a killing machine sir! Loved the post. Good luck on the marriage. I just celebrated my 10th anniversary, we got married young and I wouldn't change it for anything. I like to pass on some advice my dad gave me, possibly the best or ever gotten. "Marriage is give and take and if you don't feel like you giving more than your taking you not giving near enough". Anyhow good luck with all your hunting endeavors this fall brother!
Thanks for sharing your journey!
Enjoyed your post. Thanks for sharing it.
