I'd like it better with a story!! :bigsmyl: congrats on a beauty!! Ill get up there for Bears someday I've hunted deer, ducks and geese in Sask.
Very nice!!
People often ask how to tell a bear that is worth shooting...well your pictures of the head of that bear ought to be made into a poster for all bear hunters to see...plain and simple if there is a big crease in the forehead like that and the space between the small looking ears one can forget about anything else and slip an arrow through the lungs

A friend of mine from Lethbridge shot a black nosed bear many years ago about like that one...he gave it to his taxidermist friend to mount however he chose...the guy did a full body mount on all fours and George had to build an addition onto his small house to have a place to put it...lots of taxidermists are closet comedians

Great Bear, who did you hunt with? Hunting spring Bear is just as good as it gets, I'd go every year if I could afford it.
