Title: Where to buy
Post by: twostrings on June 10, 2015, 12:14:00 AM
All,

I've got a 5-6 year old arm guard that is in need of some new cordage. Does anyone know where I can find elastic cordage that looks pseudo-leather like? I've got real leather lace, but would prefer to replace it with what it was originally made with. Colors of current cordage are yellow and brown. I can't find anything online that isn't "crafty" in appearance.

Thanks,
-Matthew

Kustom King has it in brown color. Item number 1614. They are a sponsor here.

Have you tried a local craft store like Joanne's Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics, or Michael's?  I found some elastic cord at one of those stores that I braided and used for some armguards I made for my daughters.

I bought some black elastic cord on **** a couple of years ago to use on my arm guard. I seem to remember seeing lots of colors available too. It was cheap and is still wearing like a champ.
