Hey all,
Does anyone know what is going on with Onestringer? I was looking to get some new wraps from them to replace the ones I got from them a few years ago.
I search for their website and it comes up. I click on the link for wraps..it comes up "NOT FOUND."
The I click on the MAIN link to go to the Home page and what comes up has absolutely nothing to do with archery. A page comes up that is about some kind of an online game that looks like it involves Vikings, maidens with flowing hair and so forth. I don't know what it is.
Did they close their doors?
Anyone know what's going on?
If they are closed down, can you all recommend another good source for wraps?
Thanks all.
Nalajr
I talked to Mindy and Scott yesterday. The business is still open and going strong. You might try calling them (417-300-3686) or emailing Mindy (mywraps@onestringer.com)
Darren
You're right. I just clicked on the link in the Sponsor's listing and got that online game of some sort.
I just clicked on their banner add above and it worked fine. :dunno:
Yeah, I notified Mindy that their website had been hacked. I guess they got it fixed now.
Darren
Just tried it and in the middle of an order the site stopped working . I tried to re access and it is definitely hacked again. I'm going to give them a call.
Ordered some wraps from them about 2 weeks ago. We played phone tag for a few days but it all got sorted out.
Wonder why they are being targeted? That stinks....
I hope no one thinks they are not in business because of my post. That was not my intent at all. I was wanting to check on them and make sure they knew what was going on.
Thank you all for telling them and helping them get it fixed.

I placed an order last week, and the arrived today.
Jeff
I hope everything works out OK. I think highly of their business and their product, as well as their service in the past.
I have always had great dealings with them.. I hope the issue gets resolved wit the web site.
Yup.... The website is down right now... but i just received an order last week so it's probably just a glitch somewhere..... give em a call.
Oh I like doing business with them. The wife always seems to match my feathers exactly right when I send her a pic.
Scott has one fine bow too. He has a Widow that he had the guys at Black Widow grind off that "sharp" shoulder. Boy it is one gorgeous bow now.
Please, GOD in Heaven, don't let their business suffer any because of me and my asking this in public. That was NOT my intent at all.
If something did happen I would feel like a Deuce in a Punch-Bowl around here from now on. I'd just have to go away and hope that they could forgive me.
So, if any of you know them personally, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pass this on to them and stress that I meant no harm at all to come to them or their great business that I have enjoyed using several times.

I can't imagine anyone taking your inquiring as anything other than genuine concern. Computers can be tricky rascals at times, and we can never be sure about what effects the economy has on small businesses these days.
I order all my wraps form them. One of the best in the business and great customer service. Just got a dozen new wraps last week.
I ordered a couple dozen wraps about 2 weeks ago and for some reason the website didnt record my order, but it did deduct my funds from Paypal. Mindy emailed me the very next day after I placed my order but I didnt check my emails...after 4 days I happened to check my email and I found Mindy's email telling me about the error. They shipped out my order the next day Priority....Onestringer wraps are # 1...
Absolutely!! I've tried other wraps and they are no comparison to Onestringer.
The next thing is that their prices are just awesome. Where can you get a dozen solid color wraps, which is what I use, for $6?
Gonna be ordering more here in a week or so.

I just clicked on their sponsor link and it went right to the correct website where I can design my own wraps. I've bought from them and it's a fine product and great customer service!!
Has anyone tried their double dogs or reflective wraps.
Jeff
I just went to thier site to set up a new account and order some wraps, the page to setup a new account is blank. I tried a couple different browsers.
I'll keep trying, I like thier wraps!

Yep, that's about all I use on carbons. The double doggs can be a bit difficult to work with just because they are so thin. Definitely don't want to have a fan on in the room when trying to apply them. I recently used some of the double doggs on GT Trads without a wrap underneath. You have to look very closely to tell there is anything on the shaft other than feathers. I wanted to maintain the look of the "wood" shaft, but have the ability to change feathers without messing up the finish and I think it worked out pretty darn well. Lastly, as all have stated above, you won't find better folks to do business with.
