Just curious who uses Nap RazorCaps how ya'll go about sharpening them?
My accusharp only gets a small section of it before the plastic rubs the other blades, I have a few other sharpeners as well but the razorcaps are to long and narrow for any of them. Just curious how ya'll go about doing it? Stone w/ oil/water? Any tips would be awsome!
Same as the WW, but with stones, rather than a file. Use regular stones, KME/lansky type rigs, japanese stones, wet sandpaper glued to anything flat.
I finish on leather or a ceramic rod.
I use a file and stone, just like you would for a Woodsman.

I can get them shaving sharp in a matter of minutes using this method.
KME has an India Oil Stone for about $17. It has a coarse and fine grit and the coarse is really good at getting the initial angle and rough edge done...much easier than with a file. I had been using DMT diamond stones but the KME is way cheaper and seems to be as good if not better. When I get the rough edge, which is actually good enough to hunt with, then I simply mone on to finer grits...2 blades at time pulling the head towards me (as opposed to pushing it away from me). I finish up using a round ceramic stick and do two blades at a time, pulling towards me with the weight of the head as the only resistance to the ceramic rod.
I also sharpen them just like the WW.
My friend just told me he uses a small tungston carbide scraper that Cabella's has said it was the camo one listed. Very sharp with little effort.

I use a old butchers steel made in Germany. I could always use more if you don't like them.
Awsome guys thanks a TON!!!
I do my Snuffers the same way as others do WW.IMAO, that is the best way to sharpen any 3-blade
File across the flats with a mill bastard or medium diamond stone lightly then hit up with a butcher's steel.
What a place. I logged on this afternoon to ask this very question. Only here could someone else beat me to such a specific question. I love this board.
Thanks,
Brian
g3 makes a nice steel for thier 3 blade, its 2 diffrent grits (one on each side) and should do very well with a razorcap
Thanks again everyone for all the input!
