1 COR 2:9 on mine.
Just the reference to the verse, not the words
I ponder on it often in the morning when I'm perched in a tree and the new day is dawning
You may think this is nuts... but I like 1 John 2:15. Actually considering having "1 John 2:15" (reference to the scripture, not the actual verse) put on my forthcoming custom bow.
It reads, "Love not the world, neither the things in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
I REALLY like my bows... and need to be reminded to keep my priorities right.
There are many beautiful verses... it's a big book!
Good luck choosing!
i've used:
gen 9: 1-3 , it's why we hunt.
phil 4: 13 , great inspiration
gen 1:1 , if you belive this, the rest is easy!
john 8:12 , good advice
john 14:6 , classic
just a few ideas

I have the full scripture written out on another bow, but it gets a little crowded on the limb.
I also love the book of James, I think often of 1:12; Happy is the one who endures testing , because when he has proven to be genuine, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.
Another one which resonates deep with me is Phillippians 2:8; He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death - even death on a cross.
Here is a good one:
Isaiah 49:2b
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made Me a polished shaft;
In His quiver He has hidden Me."
If I am blessed to be ever shooting again it would be the reference to my signature. Denny
I put a portion of the verse that my dad gave me years ago when I was moving out of the house: I Chronicles 28:20. It makes me think... Take courage, hunt and have fun with the bow, but keep the Lord's work your highest priority.

Romans 5:8
Proverbs 3:5&6
Romans 1:20 to keep the hunt in perspective and be reminded of God's glory in creation.

Amen!!! :)
Psalm 37:4 is on several of my bows
"Delight yourself in the Lord and you shall have the desires of your heart"
I have found that by trying to follow Him the desires of my heart have changed drastically.
God bless,Mudd
Mr Mudd Sir..... I could not agree with you more ;)
Amen brother!
I know for me personally I have so many bible scriptures that mean alot to me it would be hard to pick just one.
Job 12:7-10 on my longbow.
I have Eph 4:1 as part of my Onestringer arrow crests.
"Lead a life worthy of your calling..."
