Title: Tiny Target Thrower in Action
Post by: oxnam on May 31, 2015, 10:02:00 AM
I did a quick video of my aerial archery thrower with a little bit of aerial shooting with it.

Anyone else excited about shooting aerials?

Thanks guys!  Work has lightened up so I'm planning to post more videos.  If you have any ideas for videos, let me know, sometimes it's tough to think of stuff to film.

Outstanding. Did your son hit the other one?  That is awesome.  You could mount a pully on the end of the block if you wanted to get perpendicular to the thrower and have it throw it from left-right or vice versa instead of directly away from you.

I was really impressed that you can pick one ball with three in the air.  I always have more problems picking a shot when multiple birds fly as opposed to singles and that is with a shot gun!

My five year old son did in fact hit his.  The camera was rolling and I thought he might have thought my hit was his when he said "I nicked it".  It wasn't until I was finishing up the editing with the slow motion that I finally saw it.  I wish I had realized that sooner...like when we were still filming.  He shoots well, so I'm going to spend some time just filming him.

It was my three year old that loaded up the thrower with three and it adds to the challenge.  Helps with picking a target, which can be tough on flushing birds.

Thanks, it sure puts the breaks on the arrows, even from a 65# bow.

Great video. But I like watching your videos. Dont get to shoot aerials much. Dont have the space to do it. But it is fun.
