I am considering offering the Spine-O-Meter as a kit for the Christmas season. What better way to spend some time this winter than finishing and assembling your own spine tester. The accuracy of the meter is inherent in the design so there should be no concerns in that regard. This will save a good deal of $$$ but I have not yet determined the price, somewhere around $125.
For those not familiar with the Spine-O-Meter search in the sponsor classifieds.
If the response is favorable I will gear up a production run in time for Xmas. My elves do not want to work too far into December - it is a union thing.
The buyer will get all of the parts to build the tester. The wood will be unfinished and the round-over edges will not be present. Just finish the wood to your taste and assemble.
Thanks for tour feedback,
Kevin

Kevin I love the one you built the first go around so I am not a prospect.............if I were in the market and had held back, especially due to price then this would have strong appeal. I don't think there are others out there offering the same thing?
Go for it!

In all honesty I think $125 is too high for a kit.

It looks like it is well crafted. Price is not great, but it is fair price. If you make them for sale, send me a note when available.
