Me and the F.R.O.G team got together in the last 2 week for a couple of missions to see if any of our relocation efforts were successful.
I'm afraid our tactic's were to successful and we will need to locate new Frog strongholds in the near future.
We have been to 2 of our main sites and have only found a few of the mature Bull Frogs were use to seeing.
If we had hit all that we either saw or shot at we would have about 30 by now, but that was not the case :saywhat:

Probably cause you guys wade around in the dark...disturbing the egg laying sites and messing up the new batch... :knothead:
Rotate your crops...
Or at least your harvest!
Find a golf course, ...worked on Duck Dynasty!
That is so cool, these frog hunting threads are awesome! I look forward to them every year. :clapper:
What kind of snake is that? Weird looking!
Glad you guys are having some fun, and it IS fun. Tasty too.
Looking forward to some frogging when it opens here. I've got two little ponds right by my house that I left alone last year. I usually hunt them a couple times every other year, and a few bigger ones within a couple miles of home, that nobody else seems to hunt. Thanks for sharing.
Bob
Doc,
You are so right! It is time to rotate the crop sites. I'm on a mission to find new location where the "VietFrog" has taken over and send the team out after them.
Normally this is Scouts (Possumhead) and Logistics (Warren)job description, but as usual it falls on the Team and Supreme Leader to do it all. But it has to be done.
Steve glad you enjoy the threads, and remember to pray for those that have fought and nearly died to give you these fun times and frog leg recipes
Paul that was a fresh water eel or if you would a Frog spy.
It keeps rainin like this and it will be June when we get back to it. I'm kickin myself for not calling you last night. We probably could have worked on em.
Tell the gray haired ole coot in the Tundra to try some hair coloring that head might be blowing your cover. That bozo in the Bama shirt probably brought us bad luck! :biglaugh:
I'D say the two of you need to step it up a little bit.
And by the way Scout nice of you to check in, now get to work finding us some new "Killing Fields".
YOu guys should have to pay extra for some sort of license to allow you to have such fun together!
I agree, those threads are the best highlight of the summer tales!
I case your thinking I'm kidding about the dangers of Bull Frog hunting here a short video to prove the point.

Can we get a moderator to move the Bullfrog threads to "Dangerous Game" Category :scared: Please?
YIKES...!
They must have some gnarly gastric juices to digest all that, given no teeth to chew... Good thing they don't get the size of even small dogs!
And here I just thought they ate bugs and such... :D
