The opening page brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye......
I think I need to have a :coffee: with OE.

Having just returned from a month away on a trip while my best buddy beagle was in dog jail, I can relate to how attached we get to our pets. I think I read that James just got a new great dane pup. OE, I hope your new dog is as good a friend as your previous dog. No wonder that even primitive man had canines as companions.
James was going to build my Morning Star when his best friend passed.......I told him to do what he had to do for a couple weeks and then we would talk about my bow. I have lost pets myself and a bit longer wait would not make a bit of difference to me.........by the way......he did a fantastic job on my bow!!
Great Danes are special dogs. I had a silver that passed at just over a year old. I cried like a baby. He is the reason I will never ship another dog via airlines.
I went to the website after work the other day (his site gets blocked at work), and I saw the picture, but didn't see any explanation about it.
Can someone enlighten me ?
I am on Great Danes #4 and 6 right now myself, with #4 recently being diagnosed with bladder cancer. He's still doing very good for an older Dane, though.
I had a female rednosepitbull abeloved family pet she guarded my kids like they were her puppies.when I had to put her to sleep she had cancer my son fell asleep with her collar in his' hand .He wrote a short poem ''Ruby is kind ruby is brave ruby is gone''

He was a big gentle giant, that loved visitors.
Florida Lime: James recently lost his dog Pluto. Pluto was a massive great Dane with a really gentle heart and a fun loving disposition... he was a fixture in the shop and if you got too busy talking to James about bows, arrows and such, old Pluto would come gently remind you that you needed to include him with a pat on the head. Pluto and James were inseparable and losing him was a real tough on Mr. Berry. I too will miss Pluto.
The good news is that James has a beautiful new fawn colored female Dane now. Her name is Demetrius. She is a great dog and is already sticks like glue to Mr. Berry.
That picture is classic and really reminds me that Pluto will always be alive in the Heart of JD Berry and that there is a little bit of Pluto in every bow he made in the last 7 years.
Thank you guys, this means a lot to me. I buried Pluto with one of my bows and a Dz. arrows and a Back quiver he would carry around.
The two things in my life are Archery and Great Danes. I couldnt be a luckier man, because those two things have brought many friends into my life. ..OE
ps. Thanks Jerry, I couldn't have said it that well.
