That's slick ;)
WOW, John that is an awesome bow!
Nice widow.
I really like Osage, I think mainly for tradition and the character it gets as it ages. Building myself an osage 2 pc. Smoke at the moment. Mine has an osage riser, osage belly veneers and carbon back with some Bocote overlays. I'll post some pics when I get it finished.
Here's one I built for the bow swap last year. Lacewood, Purple Heart, Osage, with white glass accents.

That's a great looking bow!!! What's your opinion of the Kanati? I've never shot one.....
Here are a few osage bows, a little rough at this stage but they have the potential to be GREAT!

Yes Sir that's the most important part ;)
One I made a few years back out of osage for the laminations and riser. I added ash into the riser for contrast but wanted a bow that was as bomb proof as possible, thus Bois de 'arc wood was chosen.

It has darkened some since these pictures were taken.
That's a looker and a shooter ;)
A couple of mine 59'er Osage and Phenolic and my Dakota all Osage . Guess you could say it's my favorite bow wood.

Nice bows ;) i like that 59er ;)
cmh....I had gotten away from the shorter hybrid longbows, and been shooting 64"-66" d-shape bows. I seen the Kanati in sponsor classifieds and thought it would be perfect in the blind this spring for Turkey. I really like it, and harvested my first archery turkey with it. It is a great shooting bow, very nice grip, and sends an arrow with authority. Jason is a fine bowyer! ;)
I like Osage my new blacktail is going have bocote and wenge in the riser and osage veneers on the limbs. My old blacktail one piece has osage limbs, they have mellowed nicely. Should photograph them both together when the new one arrives.
:)
