I have truly resisted a bunch on buying bows. Yeah, got 4 Schafer Silvertips on the rack and one on order, but have been resisting the classifieds. Until today when a sweet looking vixen caught my eye and heart on another site and I could not resist. So a 2011 Gregg Coffey Super Shrew is on the way to me, 60", 59#@28" bow bolt takedown, macassar ebony limbs.

Nice!
Danny, Congrats on the new bow! I would have given in to it as well if it were 10# lighter.
Congrats Danny, that's a pretty bow and a great shooter. I love Macassar and those little longbow are a joy to shoot and very easy to carry. I have a Gregg's Elkheart on arrive for next week.
Very nice bow!! I see why you cracked :saywhat:
One sweet bow, I'm sure.
That's a beauty! Gregg builds fine bows and is one heck of a nice guy. Hope you like it
I love it Danny! Those limbs look killer.
Real nice, looks like a real shooter.

Yes indeed.
Sometimes temptation is a thing of positive good.
Danny,
Same thing happened to me last year. I bought a 58" 58#. Super Shrew Samurai from Chromebuck. When I got it I tried shooting it and it was everything CB said it was, very smooth shooting.
It then sat on the shelf while I played around with my other bows. I did occaisionally wonder why I bought it. Then this spring after struggling shooting the other bows, I put them down and pulled out the Shrew.
It shot so nice I took it to a Archery shop and put it on a scale. It came out a hair over 55, which made sense. But the difference in weight is not the main reason it shoots so well for me. Something about the ease of draw until I hit my anchor is unique on this bow. Don't know what it is, but I can shoot it comfortably alot longer than most of my other bows, and this is the heaviest bow I currently own.
Once in awhile an impulse buy is a good thing!
Danny, you did wel! Congrats on a looker and a shooter.
Sweet bow!!!
Real nice looking bow. Congrats.
How SWEEEET it is  Congrats on a fine looking bow Danny :archer2:

OOOOOOHHH!!!! Very nice! Love those limbs.....she's a looker for sure. Good score!
No Al, still got the Huntsman, no interest on it on ozbow.
That's a great looking bow Danny. :campfire:
Temptation is good. I have said that before. Now you have shown this good looking bow, so A HHA Redman is looking better and better to me. Temptation is so strong, and I am so weak...
I can see how that one would suck you in. Beautiful Bow!
Danny, you should be ashamed of yourself for giving in so easily. You could have held out a few more hours! Heck, even a spineless wimp like me could have resisted that gorgeous Siren for 10-15 minutes.
Enjoy!!!
