What do you guys like? I usually use fletch title platinum. Thanks. Bill
I really like using wraps and fletch tape + superglue gel. Or just superglue gel. I always use wraps because it makes re fletching easier.
There is a thread about issues using Fletch tite Plat on bare carbon. I know I was one. I went with Saunders NPV glue. Others liked the fletch tape, others various super glues. I would only use the Fletch Tite if you use wraps or cap dip with Fletch Lac paints. Prep is very important no matter what glue or tape you choose. I tend to go overboard on the bare shaft, I use acetone and 0000 steel wool. I also do this to remove the shaft makers info.
super glue
I spray my carbons with Bull Dog adhesive promoter before fletching. Use duco and never have a problem.
James
Locktite Ultra gel super glue.
I have used several. Bob Smith Industries is the best IMO. Can order online. Very strong and dries fast.
I use Fast Set gel, really like it
I always use wraps on my carbon arrows and use Platinum fletch tite for gluing.Holds great and haven't had any problem.Never like gluing to a carbon shaft.Using wraps makes them so much easier to redo later if needed.Carbons are tough arrows and chances are if you don't loose them you will be redoing them later.
I prefer wraps on my carbon shafts typically, but even gluing right to carbon i like using Goat Tough for fletching over anything else.

tape

I agree-- try Onestringer wraps and like possum head said replace with a fresh tube once every 12 months. Dot of glue front and back of each feather completes the job.
LocTite ultra control gel. Great stuff.
I just started fletching my own, but the tape seems to work well for me! Dab of superglue on both ends and I have yet to have an issue.
Another for Fast-Set Gel. Have been using this exclusively for years.

Bohning Fletch tape.
Fletch Tite Platinum, never lost a feather,I have the opposite issue, when they are glued no way to replace a damaged feather.
I've used Fletch-tite for years without issues but, recently tried Saunders NPV. I like it. It seems to flow out of the tube easier and more even.
Saunders NPV.
Saunders NPV. Does not become brittle and fletching is easily scraped off without the chipping like super glues.
Platinum user here........
