Title: 1st public land longbow turkey

Well finally made a dream come true was able to harvest a mature Tom on public land with my longbow.

Was shooting a 41lb maddog priarie predator with 150 grain sunffer tore this guy up. Shot was about 9 to 13 yards I guess.

I can email some the pics, I have never been able to post pics on here not smart enough.

Congratulations!  That's an impressive feat!  Turkeys with a bow can be hard on the best land.

Trond, that is a Maddog Archery Prairie Predator. One of the quietest, accurate and most under priced custom bows ever produced.
Public land turkeys are tough to get.
Way to go.

Nice work. My first long bow bird was on public land as well. I bet you felt quite proud shouldering him out.
