Title: ST JUDE QUESTIONS here please
Post by: Terry Green on April 11, 2015, 05:37:00 AM
Please ask on this thread please if you have any questions as many many members know most of the anwers.  This will help Rob, Doug, Randy and I as we work 9n the auction prep and forum......

Items donated do  NOT have to be trad related. ....that seems to be the most asked question I get emailed so I wanted to go ahead and reiterate that.......Thanks !!!!

I've got five art prints the same and I want to donate them, should I just put a fixed price TYD.  Or have bids on each?

Since you have 5 prints and there is usually 4 auctions, I would suggest that you list them as one item and in the listing state that the top five bids each receive a print.

Terry,

Is it ok if we post for another member and just specify the owner of the items at the top?

Alex....I guess that's OK...we'd prefer no 3rd party listings as but if you list the donor that's OK.

I've listed anonymous doners several times, but the items we in my possession and I listed and shipped them.

I also have a hoodie on reserve for you.  You still want it?

Thanks.

I'll list the donor and make sure it states all shipping/communication will be done through them. They have an account here just not the best at posting pictures.

Sure do, just waiting on payday Friday and I'll get the money sent over via PayPal.

Thanks!

Bisch...the sooner the better...makes it real ruff on us waiting till the last day before the auction trying to get it all moved.

We would really appreciate everyone that is going to donate to get their listings in as soon as possible....many thanks.

BowMarks...you can post again on your thread IN the Bid Forum it was moved to once the auction starts.  In one of the info threads we stated to make sure to post all you could to start with, but I know that's hard some times...but you can add to you listing once the auction starts.

Thanks all...got a long long LONG way to go...only two pages of listings at the moment.

I couldn't figure out how to get to the place where I could add photos of the items I listed so I sent the pics to an administrator for posting.

Mudd....please just make another post when the auction opens....we would be overwhelmed if we had to start posting pics for everyone......we can't go down that road ....

That's why we ask to complete your original post  ....but you can post again when bidding starts ON the forum it's listed in.

Terry,

I hadn't noticed the auction in years past, but I've seen it stated a few places that the number of items so far is low.

We're currently at 185 items and 3 pages worth, how many are there usually?

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-7 pages of listings. Sometimes more.

Listing are low  :(

But we still have some time

Typically prior to the start of the Auction we have 6-9 pages and two bid pages on every bid forum.

I tried to edit my donations by adding pics of the items but the forum wouldn't let me. Will I be able to add pics once the auction begins. Thanks.
