I posted this on the "Hill Thread" but thought y'all would like to have look...
Hello from michigan...
I received a nice long and slender cardboard package in the mail a couple days ago from James Berry.
Previous experience told me it was gonna be a good one and....and I was not disappointed!
She is a Vixen. 66" and 40# @27". Limbs have a core of amber bamboo covered back and belly with a very dark brown glass.
The riser is made of Pink Ivory, the other half of the block from which James built his Vixen, "Miss Pinky".
Riser encasements are blond bamboo and what appears to be end-grain Pink Ivory.

Beautiful bow
WOW! Tony that is gorgeous! When you get time I would be very interested how you decided on the Vixen over his other great bows. That's why I could never get on his build list, I cant choose.
Another Gem created by James!!
Oh man that's a beauty for sure. Congrats.
Outstanding! Enjoy the new Vixen! I'm sure it shoots as good as it looks.
Another JD Masterpiece.
Very Nice.
Just what I would expect from Mr Berry.
Nice bow Tony....the quiver helps set it off.
God bless,Mudd
Really nice

Kevin,
Choose them all! I caught the Berry Bug when shooting the Misty Dawn that Moots sold. That one was a bit too heavy for me but started the ball rolling....
I visited Mudd for a weekend of fun and had the chance to shoot his Vixen. Very crisp for the poundage with a delicate feel on release.
I absolutely love his bows. Please keep in touch, I would appreciate your feedback.
Very nice work by James right there!
Enjoy!
Shoot straight, Shinken

Kevin,
Will do...its good to see you around brother.
Tony, Way to go, just what you wanted, and a beauty at that. James builds a great bow for sure, and it will be a shooter! Best to you, Bob
Thanks Bob,
You hold the Misty Dawn that got me hooked! Seems it had the same effect on you
Thats a perty one.Love the pink ivory
What a beauty combo!
Dark Brown glass is right, I thought it was black. Gorgeous Art Vincent back quiver stove full of arrows. That first pic says it all.
Tony,Enjoy that beauty,James is a Master. Was talking to James just yesterday and he thinks he might have enough pink ivory for one more bow after that it's done so you have one of his unique ones.Lou
Absolutely amazing bow you got there. The OE Berrys are just something to marvel at for sure. Congrats.
And that is the tuxedo of back quivers there, something to be brought out with the good silverware

Outstanding Bow!
Just have to love those classic lines... She's a beauty for sure!
Nice rig Tony. James has had that pink ivory for sometime now and I almost had him use a piece for my Taipan riser, but just wasn't sure. It is actually quite classy looking and a very expensive wood from what he explained.
Congrats!
That is a beaut! The vixen is still one of my favorites. Have a great time with her.
