Anyone use these? If so what are your thoughts?
I like them. They work well and are easy to adjust or remove.
I'm with PICKNGRIN. Great product!
Very, very convenient to use and set up. And they work as others have already mentioned. Tried some other styles, but the ease with which to use these is awesome.
I like them a lot. Only have them on one of my bows. They work good, look good, are easy to install and seem to be holding up well. Will be using them some more in the future.
So dang easy and quite (and quietly) effective.
I don't think they are quite as good as some other methods of silencing but they are so darn easy to use and set up I end up using them most of the time.
They are the real deal!...easy to install, move, take out, adjust, replace...and they work!!!!
I'm thinking of talking to chuck about making a larger size to help some of those stubborn recurves.
If you do a Pow Wow search I wrote a review on them a little while back.
They are absolutely ACE for Hill bows. 'Just' enough to take away any twang from a bare string.
This applies for any bow that's already fairly quiet with a bare string. Definitely my favorite silencer for Hills, r/d and other longbows.
On more aggressive designs, fast hybrids, recurves, they are good if all you need is a little dampening too, especially if you want to preserve max performance (they weigh next to nothing) If you have a bow that's just naturally louder despite brace height adjustments then I think rubber whiskers are better.
They are so light that on some bows you can do two pairs easily. A bag of 4 sets still weighs less than a single pair of rubber whiskers! Crazy.
I love em. They are durable as all get out, and its SO easy to tune with em, if your string doesn't have excess twists you can slide em back and forth just lickety split while the bow is strung to find the sweet spot.
IMHO they deserve an archery product design award of some kind LOL.
They are a huge value....and work very well. Will outlast several strings, move them from bow to bow with little effort, and they flat work well. Plus, dealing with Chuck and family is always a pleasure.
Excellent product....natural wool, and another Michigan born traditional archery product.
Simple to use which I love and the do a real nice job,
Like them. Have them on my hunting bow and they are holding up real well.
I like them. Easy to use and work good.
Thanks everybody, I think I'll order some.
Have them on all my bows, my boys bows, and my grand kids bows.
Chuck and Chris make wonderful wool products. You all know the benefits of their string silencers, but you should also check out the felted wool boot insoles.
The insoles soak up the sweat, and can be removed to dry, while a fresh pair can be installed to continue "Happy Feet" hunting.
Thanks all.
I should have some smaller and some larger available soon.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

I have a good memory of my two boys and Chuck's daughter Jesse running around on a nice summer day with Chuck's sheep at his place. Just knowing these sheep (and their wool haircuts) are local born, raised and made in the USA products makes me want them...
PLUS they plain work...they quiet the bow, they are easy to move up and down sting to the right spot while tuning and hold up real well. Plus I really like how they look on the string.
The larger size scallops that Chuck now has will provide more surface area for the string to transfer into from the bows that are just a tad more on the noisy side like some of the recurves.
The small ones are absolutely perfect for longbows. Have them on all my bows...try em'
