I am wanting to tip some wood arrows with 190 grain heads.
I usually use zwickies but that is not an option here.
What is your experience with El Grande Grizzlys? What other heads are out there?

Ace offers their Express at 200gr.

Thanks.
Hey Jimmy I'm flying out to memphis Sunday!
Warm there?

Ribtek makes a nice 190 as well.

I really like the Grizzly el grande 190's.

I have some 190 Ribteks, easiest broad head I've ever sharpened. Tough too, knocked a ding in the the blade this weekend missing a six pointer (hit a nice rock though). Hit it a few swipes with the file had it shaving again.

I'm hoping to put some 190 grain Ribteks to good use too!

Funny you should ask: I saw this just as I was checking the weather on my way out. 70 at 5AM, on the way to 92. Stay cool!

I'd go with either the Ribtek, or the Grizzly. The Ribtek is easier to sharpen with just a file, or should I say, takes less time to sharpen. I sharpen the grizzly with a file too but it's more work. I've killed deer with both heads and I respect them both.

If you are thinking about doing a single bevel for sharpening the 200 Ace can be done very easy. And you well still have a 190 grain broadhead. My hunting partner has done them for this fall season.

Where are you getting the ribtek's?
