New to archery...just bought a Titan 60' composite bow with 28# draw weight (courtesy of WalMart.com). Plinkin' away nearly every day at a stack of haybales in my back yard...the 3 arrows (26") that came with the bow have already lost their fletchings, while the 5 (2X28", 3X29") I purchased at Academy sports are holding together quite well. Generally shooting all 8 at 3 different distances (5 meters/16 feet, 20 feet and 30 feet)...
Welcome, keep it up

hi Tom, Utube is helpful but practice is funner, ditch the bales and go stump shooting, the different perceptions and distances will train your instinctive ability better and youll have more fun

Welcome to the "Gang"!
Welcome! Best advice I can give you is to spend a little of each day exploring this site. Lots and lots of knowledge to be had here. If you have a specific question, try the search function first. If you don't find your answer that way, ask. I just about guarantee someone here has a helpful / appropriate answer.
Welcome!
Welcome.
Welcome to the Campfire.
Welcome Crusty, you've come to the right place. Like Kenny said, take a good look around this site. It has all the info you could ask for regarding traditional archery, and a great bunch of people too.
