Title: Bow limb damage help
Post by: katman on March 28, 2015, 10:06:00 PM
Looking at this bow for possible purchase, this ding is about midway between tip and fades on the belly, is it any cause for concern? Seller states it has been there  for a while and has seen no change with shooting bow. Thanks.

From the pic it looks to be just in the finish . If that is the case it should be OK , but that's hard to tell from a pic on line .

Katman, I don't see any lifting of glass from the belly lam. Take super glue and you know the rest of the story.

All bows have only so many shots in them.  ..OE

If that's the bow on the auction site, I think it also has another nick on the back of one of the limbs.

I agree with all those above. It looks like a scratch in the finish. It is certainly not anything I would worry about.
