I have a question about the Super Nocks on these shafts. How do these nocks fit on the string? I'm using a 12 strand Rhino string. (actually my son is)We have been shooting Carbon Express Heritage and the nocks(TCX)that come with it have a loose fit on the string. So I have been installing nock adapters and using Arizona 9/32 glue on nocks. It is giving us a nice fit and I'm real happy with them. The thing is my son has been growing like a weed and his carbons are getting to short to safely shoot. I cannot keep buying carbons over and over. So until he slows down I'm thinking about a more economical approach. Also he likes the look of the camo's. But I've never used these nocks so I don't know how they will fit. The TCX nocks had a snap going on the string however the throat was to big and they were quite loose on the string.
Depends how the string is served. You should have the string served to fit the nock you use. On the skinny strings it may have to be built up.
I shoot Camo Hunters, and they use a 5/16" nock. Nock fit depends a lot on the string serving size. If you order a custom string, tell the maker what arrow nock you want to use. Nice thing about the 5/16" is you can try different ones, and one of them will probably work for you.
I do not like the way the super nock fits the bowstring. I would buy the Easton 3-D supernock, best nock for Easton super-unibusing in my opinion. If you decide you like the supernock, then let me know and I will send you a bunch of them. I think they will fit tighter than your current nock.
The 3-D super nock is the bomb ,I bought a dozen to try after seeing a lot of poeple like them.Well now I have 4 dozen more great fit for my strings, not as tight as the regular super nock.
