EXCITED like little kid with a new bike. The truck is packed with enough junk you would think I'm going on an African safari.
TURKEY SEASON STARTS Saturday for us......
I love hunting turkeys it's just so much fun , and I'm ready for a few days in the woods. And chances are good we will be in the birds , so the problem will just be getting em in range and getting an arrow in a few. And I hope we find a hog or two along the way....Anyway good luck to everyone out hunting that big Tom this weekend....
,,,,,Sam,,,,
Go get 'em, Sam! Best of luck to you.
Had four or five big toms and some hens in the driveway this morning. Toms in full strut. What a beautiful sight. Won't be able to get after them here in NJ for another month. Judging by what I've seen so far, it should be a good season.
April 29 for us. Good luck Sam.
Been struttin in my backyard also, beautiful thing to see. Good luck.
Good luck Sam
Good luck bro, hope the excitement lasts and a hog strolls by just to cap it off!!! :archer:
Good luck, and have fun. Oh yeah, take pictures.
Bob
I see a few strutting every morning on my drive to work. We dont start until May.
I envy you to break out into an impromptu Hog hunt.
Good luck Sam.
If the pictures of those deer and hog harvests with your Hill longbow are any indication of your turkey skills, and I were a turkey, I'd be getting all my worldly affairs in order.
If I get lucky this season it will be turkey #58 with a trad bow and hopefully 59 and 60 also cause I have 3 tags left for this year.....
,,,,Sam,,,,,
Good luck and keep us updated.
Go get em Brother!
That's impressive numbers on turkeys with the Trad bow!
Wait, that's impressive with any weapon lol
Best of luck Sam
Turkey/bacon sammich! Go get em Sam!
Gonna run around in N Florida tomorrow morning. Been seeing some nice strutters here lately. Good luck to all.
Good luck on your adventure Sam. After all if any body can get it done, you sure can. hunt safe and have a great time.
Tony
Sam get after thum
I'm getting a little excited myself. I looked out the kitchen window this morning, and there were four toms in the field by my house. They looked to be two year olds. No hens, or strutting, just looking for something to eat in the few patches of bare ground. It's nice to see them back up here on the hill after a long winter just the same. May 1st doesn't seem so far away now. Good luck again Sam, I hope you have the time of your life.
Bob
It rained from about 3:00pm Friday until about noon today , set a blind up and saw several birds , missed a jake. They won't come in to the call all the big boys are with hens and won't leave em. Setting up on a trail I saw them useing today for the morning sit.....
