If you haven't watched the DVD Stalkers in the Backcountry, the first hunt from the DVD "Perseverance" will be playing at 8:30 Pacific time. It will also replay this weekend on Friday at noon and Saturday at 2:30 AM, hope you have a DVR! It is a trad hunt for mule deer, hope you enjoy!
Thanks for the heads up South. I don't normally look at that channel but just hit the record button.
what show will it be on?
thanks
Thanks! Sportsman's warehouse film festival.
Settin the DVR.
Dang missed it. If you find out when Friday or Saturday let us know. I'd like to see it.
8:30 Pacific is 10:30 Central Robert.
Very well done. enjoyed it
Great DVD, I have watched it several times.
Nice work South, thanks for the heads up
Thanks guys! Ryan did a great job putting all the footage together into an entertaining DVD. They cut about 50% of the footage out of the segment they aired, but you can get a pretty good idea of the quality of the area I was hunting. I can't wait 'til August!
Can we purchase the full dvd's from your website?

That was a nice little taste but buy the DVD. Its a good one.
This was an awesome hunt for sure.
Anyone know what channel the Sportsman Channel is on Direct TV?
Would that be the "outdoor film festival" ?
Yep, that's the one.
:clapper: Well done South a very honest representation of trad hunting I appreciate you showing the preparation before the hunt plus all the missed opportunities as well as the misses. Your discouragement and of coarse your perseverance. you kept it real instead,of making yourself look like a rockstar like so many hunting videos do nowdays The scenery was breathtaking.
I don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity to hunt mule deer but your film really makes me want to.
Congratulations
Thanks for the preview I may have to order the DVD
Tim
Great job to South and Ryan and the videographer (I don't remember his name). Those high country mule deer looked like cows with antlers.

Man this the only time I wish I had satellite.
Excellent! Love that high country!
I put in for a great Utah mule deer tag this year. I'm going to need to get the full DVD to get my juices flowing.
Nice job to all involved.
Love your DVD South, missed the tv though. Every once in a while, I wish I had cable.

Well apparently I'm dumber than the equipment I'm working with! I set this to record and it recorded a fly fishing show. It was a good show just not what i was after! What am I missing here?

Same here. I haven't seen it on.
For anyone that liked the show, I'd encourage you to get the complete DVD. I've hunted mule deer a lot in prairie country and really thought South's DVD does a great job of capturing all the great stuff about spot/stalk mule deer hunting. The highcountry scenery ain't bad either. I've watched mine a bunch of times.
