Title: Traditional squirrel hunt in SE Ohio
Post by: Slickhead on March 14, 2015, 07:16:00 PM
Looking at planning a Sept or early Oct Squirrel hunt in SE Ohio.
In the infant stage now seeing what the interest is.
Some from another trad site have expressed interest.
Looking at Jackson County Ohio (80 miles south of Columbus)
But there are some other options out there.
Maybe a 3 day or 5 day hunt.
Camp, fun and fellowship )and possibly stick a squirrel or two)
Let me know if you have an interest as Ill revive this thread thru the spring/summer.

Have you ever heard of the GOSH(Great Ohio Squirrel Hunt)? I don't know if it still happens or not and it might only be every other year. There has been a group that gets together and does this very thing at the AEP campgrounds in southern Ohio. I have heard it is a really good time. They camp, hunt and have a great 2 or 3 days of shooting and camping.

yes but I think it was discontinued due to a heavy workload for the organizer.
