Been really getting into these cane arrows as of late. Thanks to Matt E from SC for his gift of a dozen switch canes shafts to me. I have had these shafts for about 6 months now, spent the summer drying them and straightening them. The past month I have been spending countless hours making them into my 2007 Hunting Arrows:) I have Magnus II 2 blades on three of them, a 35 year old Bear Razor Head on one and a flint head on another. The flint head arrow is not sinew wrapped yet, just glued it in tonight, I will wrap it tomorrow night. In the pictures you will notice a difference in arrow length, that is coming from the length of the broadheads. Depending on the shot offered, if possible that I have time to switch arrows, and it is a shot of 8 yards or less, I will shoot the flint head. Other than that it could be the ole bear or a Magnus II. Hope you enjoy the pictures guys and gals. Roy

They are a lot of rewarding fun to make for sure. I made up several dozen this summer and have had a blast hunting with them. No game yet but that doesn't matter as long as I'm enjoying the outdoors. Good luck.
Thanks Jay, every one I make has me wanting to make another:) Now where is that dog gone deer? :)
Nice work Roy. Wondering if you checked the spine when you are making those?
Good huntin bud.
How can you go wrong no matter which beautiful cane arrow you shoot? ;)
Roger, yes I spine them to see what they are. My Bow is center shot, so it shoots a wide range of spines very well. I number the arrows and shoot them a few times, if I have any doubt about any arrow, it stays home.
I'm envious!!
RC.....That stone head looks like it belongs on that arrow. Make that 12 yards for that one 8^).
They all look great to me
