Removed the string cleaned the string groves and increased the brace height. Happy to report no sounds and the bow is shooting great.

I have a Asbell Bighorn that made a terrible cracking sound but only when it was cold. Cleaned the string groove, changed the string, and brace height. No more cracking noise. Thought it may have been caused by sticky wax in the cold. Glad to here your problem got solved. it's a big relief is'nt it.
