Title: Chip in Bow
Post by: Nomis on March 10, 2015, 02:42:00 PM
I have noticed a chip on the limb of my bow. I have put a few drops of superglue in it, as that is what people have said in other forums. Should I stick with that, or get a satin polyurethane spray and some 600 grit sandpaper? Also Should I sand if I just use the superglue? I will post some pics if I can.

That's it ?, super glue it then shoot it until your arms fall off. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

That's not bad at all. just like njloco said glue it and shoot it. Just try to use fresh rubberized ca glue like GG Impact tough or something similar. I wouldn't use the gel I would use the liquid to soak in there good.

The GG Blue top impact resistant works well, or even a little dab of 5 minute epoxy would work. sand it with 220 sand paper to smooth it out & use helmsman spar varnish to touch up the finish.
